All our listed campers are privately owned. That means that hiring <a href=\"https:\/\/www..com\/nz\/campervan\/334308\/\">Fred<\/a> in Dunedin and meeting his lovely owners Jessica and Kaj will be different to picking up <a href=\"https:\/\/www..com\/nz\/campervan\/275748\/\">Vallery<\/a> from Auckland from Leanne and Dan! Most of our campers welcome your furry friends, so save money on kennels and bring them along for the ride!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You won\u2019t need to worry about cooking\u2026 our vans even equip you with all the essentials such pots, pans, utensils and staples such as tea, coffee and spices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can add on extras to tailor your experience\u2026 save or splurge! Extras vary by van, but options include bedding and towels, roof rack, outdoor shower, an alternative local pick-up location or a late drop-off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will <em>always<\/em> have a great view. So pull over at whatever point, put the kettle on and take in what\u2019s around you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While most of our vans are currently certified self-contained, due to a law change in June 2023, they will NOT be suitable for freedom camping after 7 December 2024, and from that date can only camp in paid camping areas (campsites, KiwiCamps, DOC camps etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Memories you make in a Quirky Camper will blow other holiday memories out of the water! He comfortably slept 3 of us (1 was a very small adult!) and had every amenity you could need. We loved the evenings, turning the swivel seats if the weather was bad or unleashing the awning and using camping chairs when good! We travelled all around the North Island in Max. There was no hill too steep for him and we never felt him struggle. He&#8217;s very efficient on fuel and you can tell the love that has gone into converting the van. Rachel and Graeme were both really helpful during pickup and drop of. I don\u2019t doubt they would be great should we have needed them during our rental period. The booking process was easy, and we had clear and regular communication from Leanne throughout. As for Cliff &#8211; wow what a fantastic van &#8211; he was our home for 6 weeks and we had a blast covering most of both islands. She had everything that was needed for a great trip for two. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was plenty of storage. Cosy, easy to drive and included all the things we needed for a great break away. Jac was wonderful to deal with and made picking up and dropping off so easy. We loved every aspect of it &#8211; from cooking to sleeping to sitting outside in the sunshine to seeing the countryside go past, it was all fantastic fun.
