Van panels covered with sound deadening mats and insulated with Celotex 50mm/25mm insulation boards which were then covered with dodo thermo liner.
Walls and ceiling covered in plywood and clad with pine tongue and groove.
Two roof vents provide ventilation.
Ikea kitchen units and solid beach worktops provide galley kitchen with lots of storage which then converts into the double bed, fold up section near door to extend work space.
Fold down hatch at the rear allows the mattress to be used for seating but can be lifted up to give full access to the length of the van.
Bed side LED switched reading lights, LED dimmable ceiling lights and LED coloured mood lighting (remote control).
Portable gas stove used for cooking so no gas locker
Fire extinguisher and CO2 alarm fitted.
Small secure combination locker for storage of keys and wallet.
Shower tray and curtain fitted with portable 12v shower which can be used inside or outside / doubles as privacy curtain for the toilet.
The 12v electrics with the solar panel provided all the power I needed for 5 days (lights, charging phones, ipads and running the water pump)
One 12v socket and one USB charger are available in the main cab, the two leisure batteries are stored under the passenger seats.
A set of pull out 240v 3 pin sockets and wiring are installed in the worktop but I never found the need to use them so never installed an Inverter or hook up point
Stealth camping due to the thin semi flexible solar panel being hidden from the ground and being fitted with the orange beacons gives the van a the appearance of a motorway maintenance vehicle rather than a camper.
I’m 6’5″ tall and had no problems living in the van week after week while working away (utilising local gym for showers and toilet).
Bank transfer for payment only and for insurance purposes the test drive will be carried out by myself.
Bed base inserted between galley kitchen units gives a full double bed using a Milliard 6 inch tri fold memory mattress (190cm x 135cm) with removable cover.
I’m 6’5″ and sleep in it with my wife with no issues at all.
Single zed bed mattress fits underneath with enough room for my 13 year old daughter when needed.
Mattress also doubles as a sofa with fold down counter top at rear (see photos).
