







1979 Bay Window 2.0L Campervan
My in-laws are selling their beloved campervan. They live in south-east London (East Dulwich/Peckham Rye).
Registered March 1980, one of the last to come out of Germany.
Production stopped in 1979. It is a Viking conversion with opening roof that can sleep 6, 4 upstairs and 2 below .
Features: 2 plate cooker with a grill below. Fridge, sink with water tank. Pump is missing. Zig for connection to 240V. Cooking extractor.
2 seat belts at the front and 2 added on at the back for the grandkids.
Engine: 2.0 Litre with twin carbs, reconditioned in 2023 . Works very well. New clutch fitted in 2023, new torsion bars 2025. reconditioned steering box in 2025 New front axle in 2020. Small oil leak.
Bodywork: Restored in 2005, still looks good. NS wheel arch rusted, rear Bumper needs replacing. OS scratch in the paint.
Mileage 11350 (July 2025).
My FIL is the second owner, bought it in 1994. It has been a great source of joy to drive, travel, and enjoy the freedom that it has provided for them. But due to advancing age and ill health, they sadly can’t enjoy it like they used to.
It is registered as an Historical Vehicle with DVLA hence MOT, TAX and ULEZ free.
My FIL has a huge amount of receipts for work done, mostly by Jacks Garage in London.
