Vehicle Description

Reluctant sale of my lovely 1988 T25 Holdsworth Villa 3.
I am only the fourth owner in 38years. The lovely guy I bought it from owned it for 5 years, and the chap before him, 31. He was a garage owner/mechanic so kept it in fine fettle and garaged it out of season.
The previous owner did an amazing job of refurbishing this beauty, starting with a very sound van and undertaking a sympathetic restoration with some sensible upgrades. Thousands spent as this was going to be a long term keeper, however his circumstances changed.
Colour change to VW sage green (L63H) has been registered with DVLC
• Bodywork and full respray/colour change by Wisewagons
• Engine change in 2009 to 1.9 SD engine (diesel) Very good on fuel and far more reliable than the 1.6 TD engine originally fitted
• Van miles 102,500 (may increase slightly)
• 5 speed gearbox
• Stainless exhaust
• The Holdsworth conversion was very high quality in its day and so well kept by the previous owners all the interior needed was a thorough clean and revarnish to the wood parts and new gas struts to one of the cupboards
• New windscreen
• All window and door rubbers replaced
• Wheels powdered coated silver with new hub caps
• Electric power steering fitted by Slaughterhouse customs really transforms the driving experience
• Rear parking sensors
• New upholstery and door cards by Newton Commercial in Suffolk
• Front seat adjustable arm rests and upgraded head rests added
• New handmade curtains throughout
• Front screen and front door window internal insulated cover
• Land rover defender door mirrors. Far superior to originals
• Polished aluminium/wood steering wheel
• Gearstick extender and wooden gear knob (made from old skateboard decks!)
• Gear lever linkage refurbished and quick shift block fitted
• Passenger seat swivels
• New front seat belts
• Lap belts in the rear
• Cold water tank
• Sink and two ring gas hob with grill
• Two gas bottles
• Hook up socket (external) and 3 pin internal socket with USB charging ports
• Three way fridge only ever used on DC or AC (not gas)
• Zig consumer unit
• Large rock and roll bed
• Table and mounting leg for inside the van
• Elevating roof fitted with new gas struts
• Sleeping in top for children
• Tow hitch
• Tailgate gas struts replaced
• Genuine VW ‘jailbars’ fitted to tailgate
• New dash tidy fitted
• Blaupunkt Breman head unit (Bluetooth etc) with alpine speakers
• Sound deadening added to front doors
• Drive away awning. This came with the van and I’ve used it only a handful of time, but it’s brilliant!
• Very good tires all round (including spare)
• Full 12 months MOT to July 1st 2026
Only negative is the clock doesn’t work. Very common on T25 of this vintage. I have a new dash wiring kit to resolve this but haven’t had the time to fit it. It will be included in the sale.
I think that covers everything but I may have missed a few things so feel free to ask.
It’s a lovely van and a real pleasure to use.
No silly offers please.
