Vehicle Description

2008 Renault Master Off Grid Camper van

Bought the base van off a long time friend who specialises in Renault Master conversions into horse boxes and campers. It came part converted as a blank canvas ready to add my own upgrades.

I’ve spent thousands upgrading the base model, turning it into the off grid camper it is today.

Conversion was done beginning of 2024.

I have all the paperwork/receipts and lots of photos documenting the various stages of the upgrades.

The solar/power set up is awesome!

It charges when you drive, it charges from the sun and when you get to a campsite and plug it in it charges via electric hook up.

If you’re only charging phones/basics, using kettle and cooking with gas, a full battery will last you up to 7-10 days no problem.

If you’re using heavy items like air fryers or electric hobs this goes down to around 3-5 days depending on usage.

It is all monitored by app. Download either the Fogstar or Victron app and you can monitor charge, battery level and usage in real time.

You can power fans, heaters, hair dryers and straighteners no problem. Just keep checking on the app and you soon get an idea of which applicance uses the most power and how to manage your battery life to suit your way of living.

Super spec’ed, mechanically sound, off grid camper van with a load of receipts and paperwork ready for new owner and next adventure.
