Citroen Relay L2H2
2011 Citroen Relay Campervan
2.2 turbo diesel
6 speed manual
Serviced every year whilst I’ve owned it and the previous owner was a mechanic who serviced himself
Full 12 months MOT
Great tyres all round, 2 of them brand new
Mechanically it’s had everything it’s ever needed including brakes, tyres, wheel bearings etc.
The engine runs great and has never let me down, we have been to France in this camper for over 3 weeks and drove absolutely perfect
The body work is generally tidy but does have age related marks as you’d expect of a van of this age
We bought the van 3 years ago already converted and has served us brilliantly during this time, we have spent over 200 nights in the van and we have loved every second of it
The van proved its off-grid capabilities whilst travelling France for 3 weeks without visiting a campsite. The conversion includes everything that you need to be off grid whilst also capable of providing 240v electric whilst on hook up.
In the cab we have added a swivel base to the passenger seat. You can reach the rear of the van from the cab and from there you step into the kitchen which has a Kampa oven/cooker, sink with hot/cold water and extendable worktop.
Behind this sits the full size shower with portable toilet that also provides full temperature hot water. On the right of the bathroom is a wardrobe which has ample space for clothes and also houses the water heater which gives easy access for maintenance. Underneath holds the Smad 3-way fridge.
At the rear of the van there are 2 bench seats that convert into a full size double bed and is also used for dining with the removable dining table. There is overhead storage both sides for clothes/food etc. and storage underneath the bench for the bedding. Underneath the bench seats houses the electrics, Eberspacher diesel heater and fresh water tank. There are black out windows and blinds throughout the rear of the van and a blackout curtain dividing the cab.
Externally the van roof is accessible via a ladder on the rear barn door which also has a roof rack which we have used to hold surf boards and a roof box. There is also 3 solar panels on the roof which keeps both leisure batteries topped up when off grid.
Bench sofa seats that creates a comfy double bed in minutes
