Honeybee has been maintained to a very high standard with no expense spared in the 4 and a half years we have owned her. Recently had extensive body work done – rear quarter panel repaired and painted and new rear door. Had complete respray a couple of years ago. Body work is in good condition bar a few very minor bumps and scrapes.
Had reconditioned engine (mileage was 90k when fitted), brand new turbo and clutch fitted August 2020 at cost of nearly £2000. New starter motor September 2020. New side door locking mechanism (common fault and expensive fix at £600). Balljoint and steering arm replacement last week.
Regular services done while in our ownership. A big stack of receipts for all work done. A well cared for and looked after van.

I did all of the conversion work myself so can answer any questions you may have. In summary it has all worked as intended with no major breakages or issues at all. There have been no issues with conversion electrics whatsoever, not even a blown fuse after over 4 years of use. No hook up – the solar works perfectly, even in winter.
There are some signs of wear and tear inside the van, scuffs on cupboards and marks on lino floor etc. but these are all minor.
We will be sorry to see Honeybee go. We are only selling her because we have a toddler now and require a different layout from a campervan. She has served us well over the years and we have always relished any opportunity to use her. She has also been a very popular and busy van on Quirky Campers enjoying high occupancy rates. We have welcomed many guests and enjoyed many 5 star reviews. She could be ready to relist with Quirky Campers very quickly.
