Mercedes Sprinter 313
For sale I have my self converted 2012 Mercedes Sprinter camper van. This is the second van I have converted and has worked a dream having been constantly on the road for the past 7 weeks on a Euro road trip. But sadly a new job means it’s time to go.
About the van first, it drives perfect, no odd knocks or bangs, mechanically sound and has always been reliable. There is a couple of little rust spots coming through as you would expect from a sprinter of this age, these are in the common areas such as the bottom of the sliding door, and edge of the wheel arches. These could easily be rectified if the new owner chooses. But the van still looks great. The current milage is 147057, but this will slightly increase as the van is still in use.
The wheels and tyres on the van were only fitted before my trip so still have plenty of life left in them. The tyres fitted are Falcon Wildpeak AT3’s, these won’t need changing for a long time. I did have a shock absorber that was leaking oil, so both front shocks were changed 8 weeks ago.
Come with a brand new MOT certificate.
Now onto the conversion. The van runs off two 110AH leisure batteries and a 120w solar panel mounted on the roof, this combination is a dream. In the 7 weeks I was in Europe I never had to plug the van into a charge point once, I was self sufficient. The 240v Appliances work through a 2000W inverter, these include the microwave and all the 240 sockets.
All the electrons in the van are CBE, apart from the solar panel control, this is a viltron unit where you download the app to your phone and can check the status of the solar on there. The van has an Eberspacher diesel heater installed, this has only been used once.
The kitchen area Is finished with a solid surface white Quartz lookalike worktop, ceramic pink tiles with gold handles on all the cupboards. There is a Fiamma fan installed in the roof over the kitchen area, this will both draw in and extract air. This works very well when the skylight that’s above the bed is open. There is also a 65L Webasto fridge installed in the van. There is a underslung 65L fresh water tank
Im sure ill have missed some things out, so don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions !
The bed goes across the back of the van and is roughly the size of a 3/4. I am 6ft and have slept in the bed both by myself and with another person. with two people I do have to bend my legs slightly.
