Conversion Description

I basically bought the best I could buy at every opportunity and cut no corners. a 700+ of hours have gone into this van and the only reason for sale is I now have French residency I need a LHD vehicle whilst living there.

I haven’t changed the V5 to a campervan for 2 reasons.

1, The van will require decals / stickers… and I really want to keep the van minimal (stealth look for wild camping)
2, Since converting the van there is 1 more stipulation which is 2 opening side windows (not including a driver or passenger window) so a small window will need to be added on the driverside rear bed area. This is very easily done and I will include a few meters of the same carpet trim used so this job can be done seamlessly should you want to convert it on the v5.

A sidenote – Brentacre are happy having it insured with the contents covered for £30k on my current policy and has 365 EU travel.

Camper Spec:

Fiamma f80 black awning – as new
Freshly trimmed leather L shaped – still waiting for these back from the upholsterer next week.
The seating area that turns into a double bed.
Lots of well thought out storage
Rear air suspension with gauges and adjustment from the cab
Smev – 2 hob and sink unit
Storage for 2x 6kg (I believe) gas tanks with dropout vent (1 tank included)
280watts of solar panels (high efficiency 140w flexible panels)
vehicle to leisure battery charger: CTEK D250SA which has a spare terminal to attach another solar panel to charge the vehicle AND the leisure batteries.
Fiamma smoke coloured turbo vent (large ceiling fan) reachable from bed
Bonded / Tinted side windows
The larger Propex HS2800 heater with a closable vent into the garage area (great for drying shoes etc)
Silver Dometic CRX 50 Fridge/Freezer
Shunt and display to monitor how much battery life is left in % and time and what the drain/charge rate is in/out
2x Trojan T105 deep cycle 6v batteries run in series to get 12v – less than a year of use – lots of power, much better than 12v batteries in parallel
240v battery charger (to be used when on campsite power hook ups) and paired to 2x plug sockets
2x plug sockets and a small inverter good for powering laptops etc
Shurflo trailking 20psi pump and fiamma tank expansion chamber.
Outdoor gas shower – with high flow shower head
Hot & Cold running water to the sink (the backdoor has to be open for hot due to the gas water heater)
underslung CAK water tank
Zoned LED lights
Sensible usb charging ports and 12v ports to charge from bed and hidden away so valuables aren’t on show
Fixed rear bed is forward facing and larger than a double – also the storage down the side has been designed so there is a lot more space to spill into with legs / arms / feet if needed
Raptored and plastic lined rear garage with 2 large 180kg weight rated sliding shelves. They fit collapsable boxes from b&q perfectly and the foam covered metal poles are to use a single elastic strap to hold bikes to with the forks placed on a camping mat on the tray.
Garage is fully led lit with diffused strip lights
Great for bike storage and deep storage without having to climb into the van
Hatch between living area and garage to turn off the gas tank and to dry shoes / reach garage items etc
External lock on the rear door
Antitheft plates on doors
Double reversing camera and large screen – one camera faces down for parking, 1 faces back for a rear view mirror
There is a trunking duct in the floor with a pull rope and unused cables in case you’d like to expand the electrical system easily (about 10 runs of cable).

For a toilet I just used a standalone chemical or sawdust toilet that fits under the L shaped bench seat (not included in sale for obvious reasons!)

Insulation: any thermal bridges were minimised – inner sills were wax oiled before fitting insulation. There is 25mm of kingspan on the floor, sides and roof. Some areas on the side have 50mm due to more space. Aluminium foil was used to seal the kingspan then bubbled foil was glued on top to form a very solid vapour barrier.

Beds Description

1 permanent double bed – forward facing accessible via the small ladder. Dimensions are larger than a double and also with clever storage to the side and feet allow for the tallest of people to get a comfy nights sleep!

1 fold out double bed from the bench seating area.
