Layout:
The conversion is a 3 berth made from high quality birch plywood. The 2 beds include a raised super-king at the rear with a memory foam mattress and the second in the middle of the living area that converting from the 2 facing benches. The super-king size bed system can slide in half if the mattress is taken out. The garage under the super-king size bed uses a L-track mounting system for carrying bikes or strapping down cargo. The kitchen sits opposite the side sliding door and there is an insulated partition between the living space and cab. The van is fully insulated and has Dodo acoustic sound deadening panels. The plumbing and electrical systems sits in the garage area under the bed. There is a Thetford porta-potti toilet with pump flush built into a ply stool and easily stored in the garage. The Van has side windows and comes with insulated magnetic blinds from WanderBugUK.
Fully off grid electrical system:
350 watts of solar (2 x 175W Renogy Solar Panels) controlled by Victron smart solar MPPT charge controller, 280ah Lithium battery bank (2 x 140ah Lithium Batteries with built in BMS), Victron orion smart DC-DC charger, Victron energy smart shunt, Victron battery protect. Includes hookup mains unit and lithium battery trickle charger.
Water/Gas system:
125 litre freshwater tank situated in garage so no need to worry about water system freezing up with Shurflow Trail King 10L 45PSI Water Pump and a Fiamma expansion accumilator. A 10ltr gas and electric Truma Ultrastore water heater is fitted to provide hot water to the kitchen sink and rear outdoor shower, there is a waste water tank fitted under the kitchen sink. A sealed gas locker is built into the garage with a 7kg butane tank with straps and drop-vent. This services the water heater and Klarstein 2 burner gas hob.
Air heating/ventilation:
2 roof lights fitted: Fiamma Vent F Pro with electric Turbo Roof Fan with thermostatic controls and a domestic skylight 700mm x 500mm over the Super-King size bed – both have built in sliding black-out covers, a Chinese Diesel Heater is fitted under the 2 bench passenger seat with 2 vents into the living area and heated garage, this is quiet and heats up the space quickly.
Lighting and Appliances:
COB LED Striplights throughout and spotlights in the living area, there are 3 sets of lights which are press controlled dimmable with 2 switches (one by the front door and one at the rear), Isotherm elegance CR49EL 12v/24V Compressor Fridge with Freezer, USB ports and 12v sockets throughout – (USB/USBC ports either side of the bed), 12v wired plug for projector (normally mounted to the ceiling),
Sound system:
2 x High-end Alpine car speakers mounted into the upper part of the rear doors (which can be angled outside) with 600W Alpine amplifier and 130W Alpine Sub-woofer in the garage which can be easily connected/disconnected. The system is connected to via bluetooth.
