Citreon Berlingo
Meet my 2015 Citroën Berlingo Micro Camper – a compact, practical, and super stealthy van that’s been my go-to for weekend getaways and spontaneous road trips. It’s simple, functional, and full of potential – perfect for anyone looking for an affordable, ready-to-go micro camper.
We’ve owned the van from new and have always kept on top of its servicing and maintenance, including a timing belt and water pump replacement at 113,000 miles. It spent most of its life as a local work van for our family electrical business, before getting a camper makeover last year! Since then, it’s been a brilliant little van that’s taken me on several longer trips without missing a beat.
🛠 The Basics (All the Important Stuff):
✅ 1.6 HDi Manual Diesel – Great fuel economy & reliable
✅ 145,000 miles (with a Full Service History!)
✅ Air Conditioning – Keep cool on warm days ☀️
✅ Cruise Control – For those long, relaxed drives 🚗
✅ Will come with a Fresh 12-Month MOT
✅ Full service being done next week – she’ll be in top shape
✅ 4 great condition tires
As with any 10-year-old van, it’s not perfect — but it’s looking really good for its age. There are the usual stone chips you’d expect, but no big scratches or dents — bodywork overall is in good shape.
Overall, it’s a tidy little van that’s been looked after and has served me brilliantly.
The van will be available to view after the 15th September at which point it will have had its full service along with MOT so if there is anything that needs doing it’ll all be completed!
Feel free to get in touch if you want more information or to arrange a viewing!
🛏 The Fun & Functional Camper Features:
DIY conversion – Made with love!
L-shaped bed with a sliding extension that covers the front seats, creating a full-length bed (I’m 6’1” and fit perfectly!)
Plenty of storage – slide-out drawer, hinged storage box under the bed, and a small unit that doubles as a cooking prep surface or table for games
Fully lined with 4-way stretch camper carpet – it’s simple but neat, and helps with insulation too
Ideal for weekend adventures, solo getaways, or spontaneous escapes with friends
No electrics or insulation, but with a little work (like adding a leisure battery or some extra insulation), it could easily become a long-distance travel buddy too!
I converted this van for my own needs last year, and it’s worked perfectly ever since. The simplicity is what I love about it – you can literally sleep anywhere, and no one would even know you’re camping! It’s super stealthy and practical.
The van comes with window thermal covers and some other camping essentials to help you get started on your adventures.
And no, the speargun isn’t included I’m afraid… 🐟
🛏 Cozy L-Shaped Bed with Extension
At the back, you’ll find a clever L-shaped bed that’s super easy to set up. There is a width ways pull out creating a small double as well as the extension length ways that slides over the folded front row seats, creating a full-length bed – perfect for stretching out and getting a good night’s sleep after a day of adventuring. At 6’1″, I fit perfectly, so it’s a great option for taller folks too!
