Conversion Description

Stunning 2015 Peugeot boxer 2.2 bespoke stealth Campervan, recently completed and ready for adventures. This van stands out from the crowd with it’s rugged all terrain exterior styling and cosy Scandinavian inspired interior. We’ve had a huge amount of enjoyment building our dream campervan and have loved our few trips in the van but the plans are in motion for our next project so we’ve decided to let someone else enjoy this fantastic little van.
It’s a L1H1 (short wheelbase/low roof) model boxer van so it retains the width for the fixed 6 foot double bed but is much more usable and manageable on tight country lanes and those hard to access campsites. It also means the camper is always welcome on small sites and pub carparks which is a huge bonus!

The conversion:

Fixed 6’x4′ double bed with spring and memory foam mattress.
Kitchen with 2 burner stainless gas hob and stainless sink with cold power tap fed by a Shurflo trailking pump.
Large amount of storage inside kitchen unit for food and clothes etc.
Large pull out draw for kitchen utensils, pans and pots.
Plywood kitchen construction with solid Oak worktop.
Insulated laminate wood effect flooring.
Overhead shelf for storage of mugs, glasses, drinks and other bits and bobs
Gas locker mounted to the right of the unit underneath the hob.
Campingaz gas cylinder – used once to make a brew!
2x 25L water tanks in garage area.
Comfy bench seating for two people – 3″ thick foam with water resistant cordura type cover.
Lift up lid with very large storage area containing the cooler and cassette toilet.
40L cooler by Iceytek – Holds ice below 5 degrees Celsius for 234 hours / 9.8 days and does not use any electricity meaning longer off grid capabilities.
Cassette toilet with front door access so it can be slid out of its storage place.
Stow away dining table with fully adjustable mounting leg.
Swivel front double passenger seat which is large enough to lie across, same as the bench seat. So if there’s only two of you this works very well and is a great place to spend the evening. With the seats rotated there is space to seat a couple more people and have upto four sat at the table.
4x LED down lights, 2x LED ceiling strip lights and 2x ambient bed lights on a separate circuit – perfect for bedtime reading and creating a cosy atmosphere.
Mixture of carpet and suede interior lining over plywood panelling.
Pine cladded ceiling
Fully insulated.
Blackout roller blinds on side windows.
Thermal cab blinds included.
2KW diesel heater mounted to underside of van with direct feed from vehicle diesel tank. One heat outlet in living area and one in garage area for drying wet clothing and walking boots.
Large garage area for storing outdoor gear and mountain bikes.
This garage space was designed perfectly for storing mountain bikes for MTB trips to the lakes, Scotland and wales. The bed is just high enough to allow the bike to be mounted below using an MTB vans fork axle mount. There is space for 2 bikes and all of your gear and spare jackets etc. the garage also has lighting and contains the camper electrics, water tanks and hookup cable. The 240v plug socket in the garage is also handy for charging an E-Bike while you’re parked up on site.

Electrical system:
140AH AGM leisure battery
Renogy 20A DC-DC onboard charger for safe and efficient charging of the leisure battery from the main vehicle battery whilst running.
Mains 230V hookup with socket mounted conveniently in rear bumper for use on campsites.
Double plug socket in garage and double socket in living area.
Onboard Smart 4A battery charger for charging of leisure battery when site hookup is in use – can be connected to an app on your phone to keep an eye on charging status.
12v Shurflo Trailking water pump with inline filter.
Usb phone and Ipad charging point in living area with battery voltage reading.
The electrical system worked superbly on a testing mid-winter weekend away in the lakes earlier this year. Parked off grid in the forest with the diesel heater left running overnight, lights on all evening with iPads and phones plugged in without a single worry of draining the leisure battery.
