2016 Ford Transit 350, 2.2 TDCi
Good condition Ford Transit Ford Transit 350, 2.2 TDCi. Few little paint chips on the exterior but overall looks really good. Drives very nicely with a great distribution of weight. Will come with a full years MOT.
Built from the ground up. This van was selected by my father (a master carpenter of 40 years) to convert into this fantastic camper.
The van itself is in great condition with only a few minor blemishes to the exterior. The van panelling was stripped, degreased and thoroughly rinsed before installing seletex and thermal fleece insulation under a foil wrap vapour barrier. Dodo sound deadening panels were used to fill in any gaps including the area above the cab. The floor construction is 25mm seletex with 18mm ply finished in oak Karndean glue down flooring. Walls have been constructed in ply panelling with a fully bespoke fit that follows the contours of the van. Underneath this panelling are conduits which have been used for all electrical wiring runs. The ceiling has been boarded with tongue and groove with a drop down / floating centre feature which houses the hidden LED mood lighting and 6 LED downlights. In the centre of the floating ceiling is a MAX Air Delux, remote control operated ceiling fan. All cupboards within the van have been fitted with contemporary ‘push lock’ knobs and are also ‘soft closing’. All top units are on gas struts. The kitchen area surround is a stylish Formica covering which frames one of the two dark smoke sliding windows. Underneath are built in storage cupboards and spacios kitchen worktop made from a beautiful solid oak. Within this oak counter is a ‘Thetford’ brand, two. burner – Domino hob and a large, contemporary sink with drainage to the 30L grey water tank which is mounted underneath the vehicle. This oak is mirrored in usage with the multi-purpose centre table / single bed base. Sheltered within the lower kitchen units are the Truma combi-e gas boiler and camper optimised fridge. Hidden LED lighting can also be found above the kitchen area. Other features for the front end of the camper include a low power draw LCD TV with aerial inputs, a swivelling front seat (single passenger seat from the main cab) and LED comfort lighting for the main entrance step. The second of the fully lined dark smoke windows is located on the sliding entrance door.
Moving to the rear of the van, you will find control panels for the following; Individual lighting curcuits, Max air fan, TV, isolater for the fridge and water pump, 240v socket / outlet (comes directly from the inverter, therfore running from the 12v supply. perfect for laptops etc. or any home appliances that would require mains voltage), remote swith for renogy inverter, renogy battery monitor and boiler control unit. Multiple vents for the heating can be found throughout the van for an even distribution. A double seatbelted seat (which forms part of the single bed) spererates the front and rear sections of the camper with a raised, permanent single bed elevated behind these. Under the double seats are the two x AGM GEL 100AH leisure batteries. This permanent single bed incorporates a cleverly designed fold out section that transforms this platform into a double bed that easily sleeps two (length – 180cm, width – 140cm) . Underneath the double bed is the ‘garage’ area (accesed from the rear doors) which houses the water pump and water accumilator (for a good, consistent water pressure), 50L fresh water tank, electrical box, permanently fixed shower hose (connected to boiler for temperature control), Vitron smart charger (for mains hook up / leisure battery charging when required) and two, six kg gas bottles in gas locker. There is also ample storage for 2 or 3 bicycles and other items. Moving to the exterior, there are double LED floodlights to the rear of the van which can be turned on / off from inside the main cab. On the entrance side of the camper is a Fiamma F45 windable awning (20 sections to extend out / wind in). The opposite side of the van houses the gas boiler vent. On the roof there are 2x Renogy 100W solar panels. The external aesthetics of the van have been largely unaffected by the works that my father has carried out, resulting in a somewhat stealty appearance.

Has a permanent single bed towards the rear of the van which folds out to a double. The belted pasenger seats and table unit turn into a single bed. There is enough floor space left that you could fit a small blow up sleeping mat or childs bed if you wish. Ample storage in the rear for tents etc.
