“Gundy” has been our passion. As two experienced woodworkers, we have designed and built the interior to create a home from home on wheels to a high standard. Having not been content with a previous custom built VW we decided to fine tune any problems. Predominantly constructed of ply, the interior has been built to keep weight to a minimum, aiding fuel consumption and ensuring she is below her top weight allowance of 3.5 tonnes fully laden. The insulation has proved itself in both hot and cold (freezing) climates.
