New price: Renault Trafic Business+ Campervan

This 2016 Renault Trafic Business+ has been thoughtfully converted into a cosy, small living space—ideal for weekend getaways, off-grid adventures or spontaneous road trips. It has been fitted with a Thule evo roof rack and black alloy wheels.

The rear is fully insulated and neatly cladded, with two opposing benches offering generous storage underneath. These easily convert into a large bed, comfortably sleeping two adults. A removable table allows for a quick switch between bed and bench mode. When in bench mode, it seats four people—perfect for rainy-day boardgames or a romantic candlelit dinner for two.

We regularly travelled with a fold-up two seater kayak, multiple pieces of luggage and plenty of camping gear—all of which fits neatly under the bed when in sleep mode. There’s also space for a surfboard or similar, either strapped to the ceiling or stored between the benches.

A skylight window, roof vent with electric fan and 12V electrics have all been professionally installed recently, running off a leisure battery. The system powers six LED lights and can charge electric devices via USB ports, making off-grid camping easy and comfortable. A small fold-up table is mounted on a cupboard at the head end and can be used when the side door is open—perfect for meals or a coffee break with a view.

This van is also well-suited for anyone travelling with a small child or dog, offering flexibility in a compact footprint. It fits easily into standard parking spaces and allows for stealth camping when needed.

It will come with a new MOT valid until September 2026 and I can also include plans and a custom aluminium framework for a rooftop terrace I intended to build (wood panels and screws not included), should you want to expand the setup.

I’ve had many great adventures in this van, but due to changing life commitments, it’s time to pass it on to someone who’ll enjoy it as much as I have, rather than sitting on the drive
