The van conversion was only finished in September 2023. We really love this van, we spent a lot of time and money to make it exactly how we wanted it. We planned to have many holidays travelling abroad with our little boy.
However a few months after finishing the conversion we found out we were having another baby. So even though it’s not even been a year since it was completed, we are having to sell her. unfortunately this van isn’t going to be big enough for all 4 of us. We will be so sad to see it go.
The van has hardly been used as a camper van, other than 2 weeks holiday at the end of last year to test it out…and the odd day trip or night here and there. Everything was bought brand new for the conversion, so everything is still in great condition.

The van itself is ULEZ compliant and has done 49,229 miles. We leased this van from brand new for 5 years for my florist business from 2017. We were the only people to have driven it, so we knew exactly how slowly and carefully it had been driven with transporting such delicate flowers and glass vases in the back. So when the hire contract ended we decided that we wanted to purchase this van from the lease company to convert, as we knew it had been really looked after. The lease company took care of all servicing and maintenance whilst it was in our possession so it has been maintained and looked after really well. We have the service history from the lease company. We’ve had no problems at all with it. It really is our dream van ❤️

Tax runs out in November and MOT at the end of October. We will put a fresh 12 months MOT on it for the new owner, upon payment of a deposit.

Vehicle weight 2940 kg which was with the driver inside the van and the Underslung tank full of water.

Any problems with the van are mainly cosmetic
-cracked wing mirror
-some damage to the arm rest which we have just covered with an arm rest cover.
-a couple of small cosmetic dints/scratches to the exterior.
-Normal wear and tear inside the van, the odd small scuff here and there on the seats. we’ve had it valeted so it’s all nice and fresh for a new owner.
-the swivel seats are slightly annoying, they are a bit stiff and take a bit of pushing and pulling to turn around.

The van has sat nav, remote locking, bluetooth connection and phone speaker, air con in the cab and reversing sensors.

Give my husband Scott a call on 07807863426 if you need any more info or would like to arrange a viewing. We’re in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire.

It really is an awesome van, drives well, it’s comfy, our little home from home. We wanted this to last us many years so we have put so much thought/time/love into this project and spared no expense with having custom tanks/locks etc fitted. we’ve had some great times in her and will be so sad to see it go, but our circumstances have now changed, so we sadly have to say goodbye 👋

Conversion Description

Upgrades we have made to the van to convert into a camper van…..

-Double swivel seats in the front which enables 4 to be seated in the living/dining area.
-Mounted swivel dining table that can come off the stand if required.
-A cushioned bench style style seat with removable covers which we also doubled up as a toddler bed. We just used a bed bumper bar under the cushion to turn it into a cot. We intended as he grew bigger to make this into a pull out child’s bed. So it would be relatively easy to do this as we’ve left enough space, if you needed an additional child’s bed.
-Underneath the bench seat is a shoe storage compartment with a key code safe bolted to the floor for passports/cash/camera etc
-Plenty of overhead storage all around the van for clothes/towels/kitchen items. Magnet catches on the cupboards so they don’t fling open when driving.
-Bathroom/wet room area with a sliding door. -This has a shower with hot and cold water, powered by LPG from a truma combi boiler so it can be used fully off grid.
-The shower room also has fixed wall mounted shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers, a roof vent and extractor fan, a hatch door to the rear of the wet room which houses the thetford porta Potti toilet.
-The toilet is on heavy weight runners so that can easily be slid in and out of the cupboard and put away for travel or when the shower is in use.
-Kitchen area with wickes work tops/ikea cupboards/drawers. Locks on drawers to stop them opening whilst driving.
-Thetford triplex oven/grill and 3 burner hob, which is a really amazing little oven and you can cook pretty much anything with it.
-Sink with hot and cold water and extendable tap.
-Built in water filter dispenser next to the tap.
-Underslung water tank 75L and grey waste tank 50L. These were custom made and installed by Barrats tanks.
-12 v camper cool Fridge
-Full size super comfy double bed (135 x 190cm) with memory foam mattress. There is a pull out step to allow access up to the bed.
-we installed a curtain across the back doors for privacy if you want to lie down with the back doors open.
-Truma Boiler 12v/240v works off electric hook up and also LPG for off grid use.
-Double 240v Plug socket in the van and cable for electric hook up
-Roof vent with fan in the main living space and a sky light above the bed
-wooden slat roof with Spot lights
-2 reading lights above the bed
-Lino flooring
-Tinted side window with black out blind
-Thermal black out curtain to separate cab and living area
-Decent sized garage, this fit our luggage, bbq, pushchair, travel cot, camping chairs and much more. We went for all tanks Underslung so we could have a large garage and keep the living area clutter free and tidy.
-Underslung LPG gas tank 25L and gauge fitted to the dash. professionally installed by Rhino installs.
-2 240v Solar panels so the van can be fully off grid
-4 USB ports
-All electrics we’re made bespoke by professionals at camper build solutions.
-2 110ah deep cycle leisure batteries for fully off grid camping. Charged by split charger from engine, solar panels on roof or 240v supply via intelligent leisure battery charger.
We have never needed hook up, we always had enough power to stay off grid.
-Reading lights above bed
-professionally installed by EDlocks: dead locks on bith cab doors, side door and back doors for extra security.
-chain locks on the inside of the doors. I made my husband add these. I was worried camping off grid would be a bit scary but after the first night was out of the way, we didn’t even bother using them. But they are still there if you wanted to use them for peace of mind.
-Floral decals were left on the back and sides of the van from my flower business as this was a requirement to qualify the van for cheaper camper van insurance, however they can be easily removed if they are not to your taste. We get so many compliments about these.
-Removable baby gate at the back doors. So kids/dogs can be on the bed with both back doors open and it stops them from falling.
-homemade window covers for the cab to stop condensation and keep the heat out.
-propex compact 1600 LPG heater
-soundproofed and insulated walls. Keeping it cool in summer and warm in winter. We hardly needed to use the fan or heater.
