Conversion Description

Fully off-grid, all weather, self-contained, lovingly convert, comfortable, cosy, camper.
The attraction of the off-grid campervan is that you can camp without the need to plug-in to the mains so this saves the extra cost of an electrical hook up.
There is a Netgear MIFI (wifi) system in the van , it also has an external magnetic aerial and this greatly increases the signal strength .
The 8kw diesel heater is fed directly from the van’s fuel tank this blows out warm air and allows you to make the most of your campervan even on winter days. The remote control allows you to operate the heater without getting out of bed!

The van comes fully kitted out cups/plates/cutlery/kettle and even all the spice jars, everything in the pictures is included . So just jump in the van and off you go on your first adventure.

The van walls ,roof and floor are insulated with celotex/expanding foam and rockwool there is also a foil backed bubble wrap vapor barrier, this keeps the van warm in winter and cool in summer .

There is a large overcab bulk-head cupboard for extra storage. For safety a fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and a carbon monoxide alarm have been fitted.

Three windows provide plenty of light, all tinted to provide privacy and two have sliding openers to allow airflow. Two windows have black pleated style blinds whilst the third has a removable shutter.
A three stage touch-light on entry to the van is very handy when returning in the dark. You can leave this on blue setting as a background light in case you need to get up in the night to use the handy Thetford Porta Potti which is on a easily accessible slide-out unit under one of the seats in the dining area.

There is a robust 12v system that will supply all your power needs. On the roof there is a large 400w solar panel, fed via an isolator switch to a EPEVER MPPT solar controller. This supplies power to two 130ah leisure batteries. There is also a battery isolator switch which allows you to cut the power when not in use. There is a switch control panel with two USB chargers and a cigarette style socket . A 3000w full sine wave inverter provides mains 240v ac to a double socket when off-grid, this can be used to charge laptops /hair dryers etc . There is also an electrical hook-up on the van which feeds two double sockets and a 1.5kw electrical water heater, for safety it is supplied via a 2-way RCD consumer unit. There is a 12v TV and DVD player that has a external TV aerial mounted on the roof. All internal lighting is 12v LED in total there are 4x spot lights 3x switched adjustable spot lights 2x led strip lights and a three stage touch light. There is a Sterling Battery to Battery charger to allow the leisure batteries to be charged whilst the engine is running . This provides power to the batteries even in winter or overcast cloudy days.

Kitchen
Plenty of storage cupboards including two overhead and a corner cupboard, a cutlery drawer and two large drawers under the sink. Solid oak worktop with a fitted belfast sink and brushed steel effect mixer tap. A three-ringed Dometic gas hob, fed by a 4.5kg calor gas bottle housed in a vented steel gas safe. This has been tested and approved by a Gas Safe engineer. There is a fitted 50ltr compressor fridge/freezer, this is a very low energy consumption appliance so doesn’t drain your batteries and keeps your beer really cool even on a hot day. There is a 56ltr on-board fresh water tank which feeds a Shurflo 30psi water pump via a filter into a Fiamma accumulator to the tap for running water. The hot water heater feeds the sink and an external shower (rear of the van) when on electrical hook-up. There is also a cold water shower at the van side door for those muddy boots or mucky dogs. There is a 40ltr grey water waste tank which is drained from a tap outside the van. There is a Fiamma thermostatically controlled extractor fan for removing cooking fumes. This can also be used to draw air into the van which, when used with the rear roof-light, allows air to circulate through the living space, keeping it nice and cool. A toughened glass splash-back with LED strip lighting and a handy long shelf which currently holds a variety of spices and useful hooks. Storage jars for tea, coffee, sugar etc and a holder containing four stackable cups. Handy kitchen rail which holds cooking utensils/tea towels and storage baskets.

Dining Area
Two roomy comfortable foam upholstered seats and a hardwood slide-out table make a lovely place to sit and eat, play games or ‘work from home’. This easily converts to a single bed by pulling out the large storage box under the bed and laying out the padded seats.
Under one of the seats there is extra storage behind the Porta Potti and the other seat houses the electrics and the leisure batteries. There are also two handy storage boxes with hanging rails above head height.

Bedroom
A comfortable foam mattress with a handmade bedhead made with resin-coated oak which is also back-lit with LED strip lighting. There are two independently operated reading lights and a TV/ DVD for cosy movie nights. A small sliding window at the foot of the bed allows extra ventilation and a nice view! A Fiamma roof-light allows even more ventilation and has a fly-screen and black-out blind so you don’t wake up too early.

Garage Area
Accessed from the rear of the van and has plenty of room for all your essential items for your chosen adventure: hiking, biking etc. The large storage box can be removed if you need more garage storage space or need room for your dog. A cold ( hot if you are hooked-up to mains) shower is fitted at the rear of the van.
