Low mileage 2018 Ford Transit, bought in 2020 from a Ford dealership where it was the demo van.

Vehicle has been SORN for 2.5 years due to a move out of country. To get the van back on the road, the following work was completed in early July:
– Fuel system drain and flush.
– New fuel filter.
– 4x new injectors.
– New cylinder head (previous injector retaining bolts seized in head and cylinder head was written off during renewal).
– 6 year service completed during work including wet belt replaced.
The work was required because the fuel had gone off in the tank, blocked the fuel injectors, and during replacement of injectors the cylinder head was damaged. The van has been fixed by a ford dealer, it is ready to drive and in excellent mechanical condition.

The camper conversion is ideal for someone who wants to take their surf boards, bikes, windsurf boards, climbing gear and skis on an extended off grid trip. The conversion is fully winterised, we had planned it for a skiing, biking, climbing and surfing trip around Europe.

240V inverter installed under hand brake. Currently wired to starter battery but could be re-wired to leisure battery easily.
A couple of finishing touches would be required:
Cushions for the bench seat never got made.
The panel at the back of the bed needs decorating.
The mains charging socket was going to be installed in the rear drivers side door. Cables and parts are in the van, just not installed.
