The van is in good condition and drives beautifully. It has been used as my only vehicle and is a perfect size for getting around and fitting into normal car parking spaces and under virtually all height barriers. It has a few small cosmetic scuffs/scratches and a dent above the near-side front wheel arch.

Conversion Description

For a small van, ‘Casper’ has it all for a weekend away off grid!

There is a comfortable L shaped sofa which converts into the bed, it’s spacious for one and can easily fit two if you don’t mind getting cosy! Underneath the long side of the sofa is plenty of open storage space, perfect for bags or storage boxes. In the short side of the sofa is a large storage compartment (that I use for bedding- it comfortably fits a double duvet and pillows); and a storage compartment for the toilet (Porta Potti 335, can include if wanted) and the waste water. This cupboard is accessible from inside van and from the back doors, so when emptying the water/toilet, it doesn’t need to be taken through the van.

Also accessible from the back of the van is the fresh water container and the gas bottle.

The kitchen side of the van has a Dometic sink and tap, and a 2 burner gas hob. With the addition of the flip-up table on the end of the unit, there is plenty of counter space for prepping food. Underneath the sink and hob is a cupboard containing an electric coolbox, run on a 12v socket behind (also comes with a main lead) and plenty of space for pans, plates and food for a weekend. I will happily include my collapsible pans if wanted, which fit well in that cupboard. There is an additional cupboard above the ‘kitchen’ for extra storage.

The van has been professionally fitted with an opening window on each of sliding doors, and 2 small windows on the back doors – these are all tinted for privacy. There are magnetic/sucker blinds for each of the windows in the back, as well as a curtain separating the back of the van from the cab. I can also include the external windscreen cover.

There are 4 LED lights in the ceiling (which can be turn on 2 at a time, so you can decide if you want more or less light), and an additional light underneath the top kitchen cupboard. There are also 4 USB sockets in the back. There is a leisure battery which runs all of the lights, USB chargers and the 12v power for the coolbox. This is charged when driving and I have never had an issue with the battery running low. I also have an electric camping hook up to give mains electric if desired on a campsite… its not fitted into the van but can be run out of the sliding door which still shuts.

Whilst there is no heating in the back of the van, it is small and well insulated, so it heats up and stays warm well from having the heater on when driving, or just using the hob for making dinner or a cuppa! I’ve stayed in the van at times all year round and never found the cold to be a problem.

Behind the passenger seat, by the sliding door, there is an additional storage area accessible from both the front and back, which make for perfect shoe storage!

Finally, not pictured but happy to include my Paulchen bike rack which attached to the back door (both doors still usable) and can fit 2 bikes.

Beds Description

The bed pulls out from the sofa and is 1.87m long and 1.09m wide… spacious for one, and can fit two if you don’t mind getting cosy!

187cm
