Peugeot Boxer 435 Professional L4H2HDI
Our Peugeot Boxer has a 6 geared 2198cc engine and was professionally converted into a beautiful campervan in 2021. It has Cruise Control, Air Conditioning and an excellent sound system incl. CD Player and Sat Nav. The campervan is very reliable and comes with a full Service History and a MOT until May 2025.
Beautiful, one of a kind, fully off grid campervan. The campervan has light oak stained (Danish oil) cladding beneath, which is fantastic insulation and has proved itself to be invaluable in European summer heat up to 46 degrees and more northern winters below freezing; we have always been comfortable. If it does get too chilly, the diesel heater can easily be turned on and off to regulate the temperature.
The beautiful solid oak worktop houses a double gas hob and the sink. There are 2 sliding opening windows – one in the side door and one opposite the door behind the hob. Above the kitchen area is a Maxxfan Delux, which is amazing at drawing air (and cooking smells) out and when the rear ceiling vent (with mosquito net) is open, it creates a lovely breeze inside the van.
There is a lot of storage space inside the van and the space has been cleverly designed to store all your belonging, clothes, food and equipment etc. There are numerous spaces to store things both inside the van and in the enormous rear garage, where we store things like spare water carriers, bikes, kayak etc. We normall carry 2 x 25l fresh water but there is plenty more room should you wish to carry more if you wanted to spend longer off grid. Our loo is always kept out of the way in a cupboard.
The driver’s seat is a Swivel Captains Chair. As we have a young daughter, we have swapped the passenger Swivel Captain Chair for a double seat, which means that currently it has got 3 seatbelted seats. We do still have the passenger Captains chair, which is included in the sale. The van has cruise control and an excellent sound system, which is very handy on long journeys.
The diesel heater is housed below the seating area, as well as the inverter and batteries. You can also find the fridge here, which runs off 12v but can also run on 240v. Our gas is stored in an underslung LPG tank, which has an external refill point. The electrical set up includes 2 lithium ion batteries and inverter (which provides 240v from the batteries), a 150w solar panel and we have plug sockets and USB sockets. There is also an external electrical hook up point if required. The van is lit by LED lights, which work in a variety of formations and 2 sidelights above the bed, which also house USB chargers.
The electrical controller is extremely easy to use and even when relying on solar power in the UK, the power level has never dropped below 60%. We have had deadlocks added to all of the doors for extra security and a reversing camera, which helps with parking.
** If you’re interested in this beautiful van, I would be grateful if you could initially contact me by e-mail. I will reply to all queries asap. Thanks** We live in Crocketford, which is between Dumfries and Castle Douglas.
There is a fixed double bed, which can be set up in 2 different ways. You can sleep crossways across the rear, which can fit someone up to about 6 ft. If you prefer a bit more room and don’t want to climb over each other to get out, you can sleep length ways. The seating area can be utilised as an additional single bed if required.
