We are selling our one of a kind camper Noah that we bought in 2017 we’ve had it for nearly 8 years and have completely resorted it from the ground up , it’s fully Off Grid & READY to go and a new MOT can be provided at point of sale for works – ( see listing / receipts etc below ) we were due to drive to Morocco this winter over Jan and Feb but I have been not well , and with that we’ve decided to tell our LT. It’s got I believe 78 k on the clock as engine has been swapped back in 2019 to a 2.4d with low mileage , we’ve done HEAPS of work on it over the years we’ve had it which I will list below and have all the receipts from all the brakes to engine works to welding to solar / fridge / bed and fabrication works , the van has been fully insulated and had a log burner fitted in 2017 as well as a bespoke back door / bespoke roof Rack , suspension lift kit , new 15″ transit wheels powder coated with new tyres all round new fridge , bed , sun roof , solar , complete internal fabrication , second hand double seat at front , overhead storage , new fiama awning , new stereo , speakers , VDO gauges x 3 , all the windows re sealed professionally to avoid leaks , tow hitch , bike rack , fuel can holder , additional storage at rear , surfboard / kayak side rack , internal lighting , night heater, bespoke front cab spare bed frame ( not show in pic ) etc etc etc too much to list.
We built this camper to travel north Africa in plan was to get down to western Sahara – we picked this van because of the basic mechanical components and lack of overdoing electrical elements giving us the ability to repair it easier in remote locations / parts lacking etc , we have also extensive paperwork manuals / workshop manuals for fuel pump , different , G box , suspension brakes , lights , wheel alignment ,wiring diagrams etc ( see pics ) –

I’ll put together as much info as I can below but feel free to shoot me a pm for further details on anything. I have also lots more pics of extra etc that are not listed here I can try and upload these to a Google pics ACC etc so you can see the extra pics if required .

VW Lt 31 – 1994 – 2.4D LWB camper with loads of spare parts , manuals , workshop booklets and well over £15,000 pounds worth of expenditure receipts to go with every replacement part.

Mileage in engine is EST 78k ( engine change in 2019 with documentation to prove ) with new:

• Timing belt
• Vacuum pump
• Injectors out atmospheric pressure / spray checked tips replaces
• New leak off pipes
• New starter.
• New water pump .
• New bearings & clutch fitted
• Throttle cable
• Clutch cable
• Fuel pump drive belt
• Filters all and service
• New crankshaft bolt torqued to correct spec of 460NM ( there have been concerns of failure if not done correctly discussed on volt / Lt forum )
• Oil pressure switches
• Wiring
• Alternator
• All engine belts belt
• Too much more to list but basically when has engine out we did everything we could when easily accessible.

Bad bits
– small scratch on door left side since repainted (could be touched )
-also on sliding door , paint chipping on edge of door ,
-large top box slightly damaged ( so will throw this in for free with sale )
– small tear on front double seat , haven’t repaired it as it hasn’t bothered us
– apart from that its in great condition for 30 year old vehicle just needs a good wash will do this before viewings !

Good bits : & Works beside engine that have been completed:
Sorry if Ive repeated anything but besides above engine works weve ( also receipts for all below ):

• Replaced full braking system drums shoes calipers lines bearings
• New wheels and tyres powder coated transit 15 inch 2022
• New clutch fitted when engine was out as listed above in engine section
• Purchased new night heater with electronic control module
• New window seals all around including windscreen at front 2022
• Full insulation and paneling and carpet lining
• Fiamma table base mount with removable table on the inside in seating bed area
• Internal safe built into the floor welded to store passports and money when traveling in remote locations ( in the event the vehicle gets broken into on dodgy places ! )
• purchased internal slide-out bed with under bed storage
• 200 w mono crystalline solar panel with cable and internal charge unit
• New spare leisure battery 2022 we’ve split charging system and full internal wiring ( nice internal yellow glow )
• New propshaft components
• New handbrake ( MK4 VW golf upgrade ) & cable
• New accelerator pedal ( bespoke VW forum upgrade )
• New 4 wheel bearing kit
• Anti-rollbar bushes and track rod end bushes replaced
• Complete fabrication of rear end bike racks cabinets and wiring £3800 spent on this alone
• new dometic fridge manuals and surround (£640 ) fitted 2021
• Full size new Fiama awning with side mounting poles ( self contained )
• Custom built sliding internal cupboards sink / draws / waste and clean water tanks removable / foot pump / gas cooker 2 hob internal storage and spice rack all 2022 built and painted
• Roof lined clad and yacht varnish
• Wardrobe and power unit switch panel all 2022
• Suspension leaf hanger spring cup rising kit (very well made German kit )
• Updated ATE Super racing brake fluid ( better to deal with high temperatures and hill climbs etc
• Wood burner fitted
• Welding completed on chassis 2023
• Dometic large opening roof window
• Orthopaedic approved foam large double-sized bed with handmade removable covers
• Roof resealed with fiberglass boat paint and re sealed where meets body
• Thule external door locks and additional on rear door
• 3x spare keys for vehicle and spare keys for every lock / internal safe external locks
• Body repainted to original blue back in 2021
• Surf rack and custom roof rack made to carry boards / solar and spare roof storage
• Front floor pan in cab lifted prepped and painted with hammerite metal paint to avoid rust in footwell areas ( can show this on viewing )
• Has auxiliary lead stereo to play MP3 phone etc and additional phone mount on dash
• V5 and big book of records , reciepts , old Mots , important info etc .
• Fold up professionally sanded work too and writing fold up desk with reading lamp work lamps and 3 X internal USB sockets
• Hand milled walnut cooking worktops.
