This professional conversion combines practicality, comfort, and space with everything you need for either a quick break or an extended adventure. Being the same size as many delivery vehicles you are sure to access all the hidden gems without having to compromise on comfort.

The comfortable sofa pulls out to a 6ft x 4ft double bed and provides underbed storage alongside the large internal water tank and diesel heater. With the sofa bed extended there is still space to access all areas including the private toilet room with a mounted Thetford Porta Potti and full-length mirror.

For the colder days the diesel heater provides a quick and effective means of heating the space and comes with a remote control, the main controls can also be accessed without getting out of bed or moving from the sofa. The heater is fuelled by the main vehicle tank so no need to worry about topping it up separately. When the warmer weather arrives, there is a Fiamma fan with extractor.

The well-equipped kitchen has a 2-ring gas hob and a sink fed by a cold-water pump (a quick boil of the kettle provides ample hot water!). Cutlery is stored in a draw over the fridge which also has a small freezer compartment, the fridge is powered by the leisure batteries so will not use up all your gas. A double kitchen cupboard provides plenty of space for pots, pans, a toaster oven, toaster, tools, and cleaning materials.

The insulated walls are covered in a clean, bright, and lightweight white cladding apart from the doors which are covered with grey vehicle carpet. The flooring is laminate but with removable carpet tiles for the colder weather. Black out curtains are installed to cover the cab area if the external or internal windscreen covers are not utilised.

Large, tinted windows on either side of the vehicle allow lots of light and great views while relaxing on the sofa or in bed with a cuppa. The rear door window also adds light and good visuals, but all have coverings to allow privacy when needed.

While off-grid the 160w solar panel charges the 3 leisure batteries which are also charged by running the engine. There are numerous 3 pin plug and USB sockets which can be used with hook-up or off-grid by means of a 2000w inverter allowing you to plug in laptops, phones, and streaming devices for the swivel mounted TV / DVD (also has external aerial).

We have used this van as temporary accommodation for a few months while between houses, and a home-from-home while exploring new places and visiting friends – who wouldn’t want to take their own bed on their travels! This really has been our second home, and we will be very sad to see it go but hope that it will have many more adventures with new people.
