‘Annie’ – Vauxhall Vivaro Campervan – LWB High Roof – Off Grid
Vauxhall Vivaro 2900 CDTI LWB and High Roof
Year of Registration: 2014
Mileage: 153,411
MOT: April 2023
Engine: 2.0L 6 Speed Manual
Annie has been owned by us for a year and a half and was lovingly converted in 2021. The van drives as good as new, with the most recent full service in March 2022 along with 3 new tyres. It had a new clutch and gearbox fitted in May 2022 and since then we have done the Scotland NC500 and several other road trips. We have taken the van across Europe and are reluctantly selling due to buying a bigger van to convert all over again! The high roof means you can stand up fully inside and even though it is a LWB, it can still fit in a normal car parking space.
Base conversion: Insulated with Dodomat Thermo Fleece which is made from recycled plastic bottles, along with Dodomat Thermo Liner to provide extremely good quality insulation while still being conscious of the impact on the environment. It is fitted with 2 tinted windows (sliding door window can be opened), and a roof vent above the cooking area. Good quality Plywood used for the full build throughout the van.
Kitchen: 12v Electric Coolbox which has proved more than sufficient for our needs and can run off the leisure battery for several hours with no issues. It has a two ring camping stove which allows us to cook both inside and outside, as well as a large sink and tap.
Dining/Work Area: Annie has an L shaped sofa with an island table which can seat 3 comfortably or a snug 4. There is storage underneath the sofa which houses the porta potti and more storage at the back of the van. It also has a large cupboard alongside the bed with shelves in the top half.
Bed setup: The L shaped sofa slides out and the table top is used to create a small double bed.
Electrics: Annie is fully kitted out for off grid adventures with a large leisure battery, solar panel and split charger, so that we can also charge the leisure battery while driving. There are 4 USB ports located throughout the van along with LED spotlights and fairy lights. The control panel with the monitors and switches is located within easy reach of the bed.
Water: Water is provided through the stylish black tap into a large sink via an electric water pump. Fresh and grey water tanks are accessed from under the sink and are both 25L.
