This campervan was lovingly converted from a school minibus. It’s light, airy and great for adventures. The three large Vicktron solar panels mean it’s ready for off-grid too.
You could also earn over £9,000 a year renting the campervan out as I have done! I’d be delighted to pass on to you my GoBoony rental page with seventeen 5-star reviews. Over the last 2 years, I’ve occasionally hired the campervan out on GoBoony and built up seventeen 5-star reviews. My campervan has one of the highest number of 5-star reviews on GoBoony. In my experience reviews really help to gain more bookings. Last year I earnt £9,291 hiring the van out. My average price was £108 per night. It would have been possible to earn more if I’d had the van available to hire more of the time. Here’s my rental page for you to see my reviews: https://www.goboony.com/campers/united-kingdom/england/west-midlands/19411 GoBoony have confirmed that they are happy for the next owner to have this GoBoony account and keep the reviews and the account. I have no outstanding rental commitments and the page is currently not accepting hire requests whilst I sell the campervan but the page can be switched on by you to accept rentals at anytime. For insurance and RAC cover I used Alan Boswell Insurance. The price was £1300 a year for rental insurance which meant that anyone who I allowed to drive the campervan was insured.
The campervan has a lovely handcrafted wooden interior with a stylish kitchen area with a butler sink. It used to be a minibus so the abundance of windows means that the entire living area feels really spacious, fresh and very homely.
The campervan has been regularly serviced and had its last full service in February 2024.
The van comfortably sleeps 2 on the comfortable double bed which is 6ft by 4ft6in.
There’s a fully equipped kitchen with lots of cupboard space for food. There is a full size 2 ring gas burning stove. All the pots, pans and utensils, as well as cutlery and crockery, are included. The fridge is an ideal size for storing several days’ worth of food.
There’s lots of storage under the bed and cupboards above that run the whole length of the van offering more useful storage space.
The campervan has 3 large Vicktron solar panels on the roof which do a brilliant job of charging up the 2 leisure batteries so that you can be off-grid 100% of the time from around Easter to the end of October and still have the fridge and freezer working all the time.
The campervan also has 2 Maxx Fan’s installed. These are the best ventilation fans on the market and do a brilliant job of cooling and circulating air around the van. They can also be left open when it’s raining and when you are driving.
The windows which are privacy glass also have home sown blackout curtains on all the windows for those early sunny summer mornings.
The campervan is great for off-grid adventures or for staying on a campsite with a hookup. The campervan is also ready for cold nights and remote locations thanks to its diesel heater and good insulation. The air diesel heater is very effective at heating the van to a nice warm temperature within about 10 minutes.
The campervan comes with 100 litres of water and 50 litres of grey water tanks. Hot water is provided by an LPG water heater at the rear, this comes on automatically when the hot tap is operated. The boiler gives you lovely warm water within seconds. The gas water heater is also connected to a showerhead providing an outside shower at the rear of the van. Using the tarpaulin provided connected to hooks on the back doors it’s quick and simple to create privacy for taking a shower.
There are 2 wall-mounted carbon monoxide detectors.
There are 2 large seats. Beneath one is a drawer containing a chemical loo.
Double electric power point with 2x USBs provides power when not connected to the mains via the inverter.
Push-slide dining table offers ample space for eating, board games etc.
Mosquito net for the sliding door so that you can have the main sliding door open during the evening and mosquitos or flies won’t get in.
Registered Vehicle Type is a minibus with a speed limiter. That has not been an issue at all getting insurance though. Insurance companies like Alan Boswell and Just Kampers are used to a lot of vehicles they insure not being actually classified as a campervan as it’s very hard to get that registration.

Reason for selling: I’m sadly parting with my beloved campervan because I’ve recently got married. I got married 8 weeks ago and am now a step-father to three children. This campervan just isn’t suitable for a family because of only having 3 seatbelts. I used to live in Coventry hence why the GoBoony page is based there. However I’m now living in Andover and so the campervan is available to view in Andover.
I’d be delighted to show you around and arrange a test drive.
There is one full-sized double bed. 6ft x 4ft6in. It is permanently in place meaning there’s no faffing about moving stuff around so you can get to bed. Also, you can get up, make a cup of tea and get back into bed. Great!

Quirky loves this style means that Quirky Campers would potentially approve this vehicle for hiring. However, Quirky have not approved a Gas Safe certificate, a Weighbridge certificate, or the vehicle's electrics. Buyers must check these themselves. For some tips on what to look out for read this. If the listing has no Gas Safe certificate, no unladen weight and no electrical sign-off please proceed with caution!
