This is a fabulous Bongo that has never let us down. For its age it’s in the most incredible condition.
Home-made yellow gingham curtains in rear window.
The van was converted to a camper van in 2020 by New Dawn Conversions in Wednesbury. It features deep aqua cupboards with plenty of storage, a Dometic fridge freezer, Dometic double gas hob and sink with electric tap. There’s a rock and roll bed with charcoal upholstery. The worktops and dining table are white with silver sparkles. There are two detachable headrests for the rear seats. Both front seats rotate fully to create a lovely seating area for 4 people. There’s a fitted 100 watt solar panel to charge the leisure battery and a 240V hook-up. Inside there are USB ports and two 3 pin 240V sockets. The conversion is in excellent condition and almost as good as new. At the rear, there’s space for a gas bottle and other utility items. Within the van there’s a water container which feeds the tap. There is a cutlery drawer. There are factory fitted electric blinds and hand-made pale yellow gingham curtains for the rear window. We fitted a Chinese diesel heater four years ago, but this is currently not operational. We’ll include a set of internal insulated blinds (attached by suckers) for the windscreen and front windows – great for insulation or keeping the van cool and privacy.
