Mercedes Sprinter 311 LWB
Here is our off grid sprinter for sale. We built her to live in then travel around Europe for a year, but then Covid happened and since then our lives have changed that we are unable to do that now.
We have been all around the UK in her for weeks and because we built it to such a high spec its nicer than a house!
I have listed the specs below, any questions best to message me. I have receipts for everything as well as build pictures. As it is hand built it is not perfect but it is beautiful and we get alot of comments regarding how nice it is.
Mechanically sound with a full service undertaken less than 500 miles ago and a new MOT
Brand new (500 miles) BF Goodrich all terrain tyres, smooth on the road whilst able to navigate the muddy fields of British campsites!

• Off grid, fully self sufficient
• Fully insulated with 50mm board throughout, wood cladding inside
• Custom made Italian Olive wood resin river counter tops
• Simba Hybrid mattress on sprung wood slates (just like at home!)
• Eberspacher Diesel heater
• Underslung Fresh (70l) and Waste (50l) water tanks
• 2x 160w solar panels, with a MPPT charge controller and 2x 110Ah Leisure Batteries. I worked out the solar requirements based on 3 hours of sun (winter) and the solar is enough to power the fridge 24/7, the lights for 6 hours, the heater for 2 hours and charge 2 phones twice a day in the winter! So in the summer there is no problems 🙂
• 6kg GAS IT bottle, under the counters with refil point near the door. Gas is only used for the over/hob
• Dometic Waeco CRX50 12v Compressor Fridge- Run off the solar panels
• Thetford 3 burner oven and grill. Decent size, fits a large pizza!
• Lagun Marine Table mount – there is a table under the seats but honestly we rarely used it
• An opening skylight over the bed and a FAN-TASTIC Vent (with remote control) in the kitchen area. When both are open it creates the required ventilation whilst cooking and in the summer cooling air.
• Large load space below the bed, this is calculated as fitting two mountain bikes stood up (remove wheels) with space around the edges for everything else
There is the space between the seats for a Thetford 165 Porti-potty. For showers we tended to use a solar shower hung out the back or camping shower facilities.
The van weight is 3100kg with a full tank of gas and half the water tank filled. we have had this checked every MOT and at the weight bridge at the beginning, just didnt realise we needed a print out of it!

One of the seats can be used as a child bed if you purchase a cot guard.
