Our lovely van ‘Micky’ is for sale. Always reliable and we get comments from people wherever we pull up. The van was already converted when we bought it and was designed to be off grid, however, we decided to add 240V hook up and sockets for hair dryers/baby bottle warmers etc.

This van is equipped for all weather types – we love pulling up and using the log burner while enjoying a glass of wine but the diesel heater is also there if you need to get warm in a hurry after a long walk. In the warmer months, there’s no problem with ventilation thanks to the openable windows in the roof but you could also use the 240 to plug in a fan.

This van has plenty of storage. Beside the bed there are cabinets for clothes, the kitchen cabinets are spacious enough for all supplies and there’s also a large ‘garage’ under the bed – we have never had an issue with space and we always bring a buggy, cot, table and chairs, etc etc…

One thing we really love about this van is the oven/hob combo – being able to actually have an oven on the road is a godsend. As for refrigeration, the cooler is stored underneath the bench seat and works really well – it’s always managed to keep our beers cold, even in the summer!

This van has been registered as a motor caravan which I know is difficult to do now with the new DVLA restrictions. This really helps with getting cheaper insurance.

We’re really sad to see this van go but due to a change of circumstances we need to let him go. Whoever snaps him up will have a great time in this beautiful van.
