A brand new conversion, hand-crafted to the highest spec by the wonderful Tatanka Campers. Perfect for a sole-vanner or a couple – the van is ready for it’s new owner to put their stamp on it, and begin an epic adventure.
The van is well set up for off-grid. It’s fully insulated, and has huge 300W solar panels to generate electricity, which you can access via plugs and USB sockets throughout the van. 300W is more than enough for charing mobiles, laptops, WIFI, running a fridge, lights, fan etc. Light switches control the 6 ceiling lights, and the electric roof fan and tap are both already connected to the power and controlled by buttons. You can drive deep into nature, away from the crowds, with only the trees, sea and birdsong to keep you company. That being said, it also has a built in hook up, should you wish to visit a campsite.
The kitchen is ready to use. There’s two gas hobs and a canister installed and ready to go (with a safety certificate because we like to make things safe). There’s a solid handcrafted wooden worktop with ample room to prepare food, as well as a large ceramic kitchen sink with electric tap and connected fresh and waste water containers. The kitchen cupboards provide ample space to store food, cutlery, crockery etc.
The seating area is cleverly integrated. Both seats are hollow, allowing for tidy storage – and perhaps a good place for your campervan toilet! In between the seats is a pull out drawer (we’d recommend putting a fridge there) and a gorgeous pull-out table made from Ash. Both fridge drawer and table can be pushed away when not in use, to create more space.
For storage – as well as the kitchen cupboards and hollow seats – there’s two cabinets within the van, and a clever extra storage unit above the drivers seats. Perfect for storing jump leads, hook-up cables, blinds when not in use, blankets etc. All the must-have things which must-not be on show! There’s also the huge area under the bed – allowing for months of clothes, supplies, outdoor furniture, BBQs, sports gear and more to be safely and neatly stored.
