Ford Transit 350 MWB High Top roof
We bought this beautiful campervan through Quirky Campers in April 2022 and have enjoyed many happy adventures together over the last three years. Our family has since grown and now is the time to pass her on to a new owner who is ready to enjoy her off-grid holidaying or home potential.
The conversion was done professionally in Bristol and has a handcrafted cabin feel, aided by gorgeous wooden cladding and bespoke units, furniture and features. It boasts a lot of storage throughout, including a huge under bed garage space, above the cab, in the kitchen unit, overhead storage above the bed and the dining area seats double up as storage too!
Beds Description
2 berth fixed raised bed, with the option of a fold up section to extend the length to 1.9+ metres if needed, or you can sleep width ways in the van which is 1.7 metres.
We have added ceiling mounted hooks to hang a bespoke cot bed which can be used to provide space for a baby/infant to sleep off the floor adjacent to the bed. We would be happy to include the cotbed with the van sale and can demonstrate as required. Please note that you will just need to buy a new piece of foam cut to size for the mattress. Our son slept in this very happily from 6 months until two years old when he outgrew it. It’s a great setup!
Kitchen facilities
A dining table for two slides out from within the bed frame so you can enjoy a meal cooked on the Thetford Topline 922 2 hob. The water is operated with a foot-pump via a stylish copper tap into a large kitchen sink. There’s plenty of chopping space on the Western Hemlock slab worktop and a very efficent 12v coolbox tucked away for refrigeration.
Year round heating and electrics
The van can be very conveniently heated by the Propex Heatsource HS2000 gas space heater to keep you warm on colder Winter evenings and enable year round use. It’s well insulated throughout and has been slept in throughout the seasons by our family. All gas and electric work was certified at conversion.
Onto the electrics, there’s a huge roof mounted 330w solar panel that feeds into a high quality solar charge controller (30 amp MPPT EPever recommended by Bimble Solar), which is all charging the 110amh leisure battery. This in turn powers the 6 LED Warm White spot lights, the extractor fan, the 12v coolbox, USB charging points, the gas heater digital stat and ignition and a car lighter/usb plug.
Summary
This is a truly beautiful van with decent bodywork for the age (a few marks as you would expect for age but no rust) and a brand new 12 month MOT until August 2026. The engine is great and runs well. We have had no issues at all in any weather. We can provide receipts for all work that has been carried out since our purchase and recommend a local garage for servicing and repairs. The side door sliding mechanism was recently replaced and everything is in good working order so ready to go.
