We have lived in this for the past 5 1/2 months and it has been a dream. Did a full loop around Scotland, down through to France and just finished a decent chunk of Spain and pretty much all of Portugal. Blimmen dreamy!
We have had this for a year and would have loved to keep it for another season but our next adventure back in New Zealand awaits and we can’t quite justify shipping it home!
Only additional things to note are some rust spots on the bottom of the panel above the windscreen (see photos) and you can see in the photo with the blue circles where there was some spots of rust that I took off and have re-applied primer and the generic Ford white paint. It’s not perfect but I’ve done this before with other cars and it certainly slows the rusting process down! It was more for my own peace of mind when I thought we’d keep this long term. Any rust was deemed ‘non structural’ and not an issue by the MOT issuer. MOT and service records have been kept
You’ll see also there are a couple dings in the side from its previous life before us. Just aesthetic, doesn’t affect anything and the paint is in tact.

See pictures. Bed runs across the width of vehicle directly behind the front seats. I’m 6 ft and fit just in the bed outstretched. Hasn’t been a problem for two of us. There is a bench seat that is a table when you want it, bench seat when you don’t. I wouldn’t want to sleep a whole night on it, but a child feasibly could sleep on it reasonably comfortably. I’ve definitely had a few multi-hour summer naps on it, no complaints!
