Citroen Dispatch MWB 1400 Enterprise 2.0L
Bella is a Citroën Dispatch 1400 Enterprise campervan conversion, powered by a reliable 2.0L diesel engine. Originally a fleet vehicle, she’s now in her campervan phase—well-loved, well-specced, and mechanically sound. I’m her 4th owner (2 private before me), and she’s been a solid, comfortable drive throughout.
Mechanically, Bella is in great condition with a near full service history. Technically, it’s full—the next service interval hasn’t been reached—but the most recent 2024 service was carried out by a trusted local mobile mechanic who couldn’t stamp the service book. To be transparent, I’m listing it as “near full,” but all work is documented.
In 2023, the DPF pump and Eolys fluid tank were replaced and reset by a Citroën main dealer—this is a common fault on these vans, but it’s been professionally sorted. Other recent major work includes a new alternator and tyres in the last two years, and a new clutch and dual mass flywheel fitted in 2024.
She currently has a fresh MOT valid until April 2026.
Bella runs economically, returning around 40 MPG even when fully loaded with the camper setup and roof rack. She’s a smooth and comfy drive—perfect for road trips and weekend getaways. While the roof rack makes her too tall for most multi-storey car parks, she still fits standard parking spaces with ease.
As an Enterprise model, she comes well-equipped with:
Air conditioning
Rear parking sensors
Sat Nav
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Bella has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of her compact footprint without compromising on comfort or functionality.
The kitchen is cleverly positioned at the rear, allowing for both indoor and outdoor cooking—ideal for those who prefer to stand while prepping meals. The Dometic CDF26 fridge/freezer is neatly housed in a custom-built cupboard above the wheel arch, complete with routed ventilation. This unit doubles as an anchor point when pulling out the bed, and includes a handy spot for an iPad holder—perfect for relaxing and watching films after a day of adventuring.
She comfortably sleeps 1 in luxury, 2 in comfort and can accommodate up to 3 people when the awning room extension is set up. Storage has been maximised throughout:
A 1m-long under-fridge cupboard fits folding chairs or a windbreak
A larger end cupboard offers extra overhead storage
