Nelly the Nissan NV400 is a fully off-grid luxury home on wheels. This van was our full time home for a year of unforgettable travels around Europe in 2022. However, since returning to conventional living, she is not getting the use she deserves so we want to find someone who will take her on new adventures! Key Features:
Go anywhere and live off grid with your own shower, toilet, double bed, two-ring gas hob, heater, fridge and luxury underfloor heating. We are selling this van as a total package – it comes with everything you need to get started with VanLife; from pots, pans and cutlery, to snow chains and security camera. Simply pick up the keys and you are ready to go!

This van, although badged as a Nissan, is exactly the same as the Result Master / Vauxhall Movano (you can google this). The undercarriage is galvanised steel, so there is no rust. Nelly comes with two sets of keys. Reverse parking sensors and reverse camera. In-car entertainment including Bluetooth, electric windows.

Security:
There is full central locking all around the van and an insurance-approved cat-1 alarm and immobiliser (which makes insurance cheaper). When sleeping, the alarm can be independently disengaged from the central locking to ensure a peaceful nights sleep. We also paid £600 for deadlocks to be professionally installed on every door of the van which secures the entire vehicle front-to-back while you are out adventuring. We have the paperwork for this.

Shower/Toilet:
A bespoke (two head) rain shower and Thetford toilet make this van ideal for those who want to stay off grid. Hot and cold water run to both the shower and the kitchen sink and is powered by the Ariston boiler. The shower cubicle has its own frosted window for natural light but ultimate privacy.

Storage:
As you step into the van you’ll notice the incredible amount of storage space that effortlessly blends into the living area. A large wooden chest doubles up as a seating area and the storage cabinet behind the cabin seats also serves as a table. There is a huge carpeted space in the bulkhead above the cab and a similar (smaller) area to the rear offers more space above the backdoors.

Inside the kitchen area are three large cabinets and a slide out spice rack. There are also numerous overhead cabinets which provide yet more storage. There are three sturdy pull out drawers to house all your cutlery. A generously sized 12V fridge/freezer is situated under the bed for all your cold storage items.

This van has an extra height roof which allowed the bed to be fixed higher up to provide a larger than average space for the garage. This still leaves you with plenty of head space so you can sit fully upright on the bed. There is plenty of room in the garage to store bikes, climbing equipment, or anything else you need to take with you. The heavy duty storage slider enables you to easily access your things from the garage without clambering into the back of the van.

Lighting:
Ample interior LED lighting provides warm, inviting light for reading, cooking etc. Interior cabinet lights illuminate when the doors are opened, making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for, even in the middle of the night. Kitchen cabinets also benefit from interior lighting which illuminates when the doors are opened.

Kitchen:
Whether cooking dinner or making a morning coffee, the two ring gas hob built-in to the solid oak kitchen worktop is the heart of the kitchen. Heat and smoke can be extracted via the overhead fan which can draw air both inwards and outwards, has a rain sense function which will automatically close the fan if rain is detected and can be operated by remote control. Hot and cold water run to both the shower and the kitchen sink and is powered by the Ariston boiler. Wash up in the farmhouse style Belfast sink and wall-mounted matte black mixer tap, with contemporary white tile splashback behind. Cold food can be stored in the spacious and economical fridge/freezer which can run off grid on 12V.

Gas/Water:
There is a 25L underslung Gas-It LPG tank which lasts months on end without needing to refill. We have all the European LPG adapters so you can fill up in any country without needing to buy additional fittings. Water is provided via the 45L fresh water tank and 25L waste water tank. XL water mains hose included.

Power:
The 375W monocrystalline solar panel mounted on the roof provides unlimited free electricity which is stored in the 2x 120Ah leisure batteries. Charge your phones and electronic devices with 12V or upgrade to 240V mains power by switching on the 600W inverter. You can also connect to shore power with a lengthy 10 metre mains cable (EU adapters are included). The batteries can also recharge while driving thanks to the DC to DC charger.

Heating:
The energy efficient underfloor heating system can run off shore power or off grid using the leisure batteries and inverter. There’s also a professionally installed, compact diesel heater for when you are exploring colder climates.

Control:
The electrics run through a Sargeant EC160H which acts as the control panel, situated above the kitchen. and even has a self-controlled split-charge system.

Things to note:
We have completely repainted and cleaned the van so she is looking brand new. Please note the mattress will not be included as we spilt tea on it!
