I am selling my beautiful handmade conversion, lovingly built to a bespoke design over the past 18 months. Now looking for a new owner, the van is ideal for weekend or longer adventures and is suitable for both summer and winter exploration with its professionally fitted diesel heater and fully insulated rear compartment. It features 12V and 230V electrics, running water, a gas hob and a fridge-freezer meaning it offers the perfect blend of comfort and style.
The conversion has been built to a high standard with an exceptionally high attention to detail. As shown in the photos, the van has been designed in a Scandi style using wood panelling on the walls and ceiling and finished with a subtle whitewash-effect natural oil to give a light and spacious feel.
The main living space is centred around a partially fixed double bed and a hand-built bespoke kitchen unit with a solid oak worktop. The bed doubles as a storage space, with under-bed storage accessible via the rear doors and also from the front of the bed by pulling out the storage units that also act as seats and make up the final third of the bed.
When in sleeping mode the van has a super- comfy double bed, with the mattress professionally re-covered using a foam-backed inner lining and a beautiful, burned orange outer fabric to give a functional but attractive finish. When switched to daytime mode, the movable third of the bed can be stowed away or converted into seats and a dining table. To maximise the use of the space the seats also act as storage containers, with one seat containing a brand-new Thetford Porta Potti.
The kitchen unit includes a kitchen sink and stylish Reich mixer tap that supplies pumped cold water from removable storage vessels. The sink is plumbed to a separate removable tank allowing wastewater to be easily emptied by hand. A 2-ring Klarstein LPG hob is powered by a Campingaz R907 cylinder housed in a ventilated gas storage locker, with all LPG work having been carried out and certified by a Gas Safe engineer.
A Dometic fridge-freezer provides ample space for food and drink for several days and is the most energy-efficient fridge available, meaning it can be left to run without worrying about draining the batteries.
A 5kW MaXpeedingRods Parking MXR-1F diesel heater fitted under the kitchen unit feeds hot air into the living space. This was professionally fitted and is supplied from the main diesel tank. Control is via a small panel on the end of the kitchen unit and also by remote control or through the Parking app linked by Bluetooth.
The electrical circuits were professionally designed by Tiny Build Electrics and all the main electrical components are Victron, the leading brand in campervan and motorhome electrics.

The charging of the leisure and starter batteries are monitored by the Victron Smart Battery Monitor which has Bluetooth connectivity and can be linked to the Victron app. The Victron app also enable the charging settings to be adjusted by connecting to the Orion DC-DC charger. The dc-dc charger activates when driving and charges up to 18A, while the MultiPlus charges the batteries from the 230V shore power/ mains hook-up.

Van Mechanics:
The van is in excellent condition and has very low mileage for its age. I purchased the van in 2018 from a nationwide dealership, and it had one previous owner. I have maintained a full service history since owning the van and its current MOT is valid until July. There are no known engine faults.
The bodywork is in excellent condition, with only two noticeable scratches (one on the driver’s side door and one by the electrical hook-up) and no dents or other damage.
Semi-fixed double bed, with two-thirds of the bed fixed and the remaining third converting to combined seats and storage containers. The fixed component measures 1200mm long x 1350mm wide, the moveable section measures 600mm long x 1350mm wide to give a total length of 1800mm and width of 1350mm.
