Volkswagen Transporter ‘Highline’ LWB
Betsy is a 1968cc diesel van with a 6 speed gear box. She averages around 35MPG and only has 13,450 miles on the clock so the engine is just ‘run in’ really. We purchased her as new, with only 200 miles on the clock from VW-t, a professional camper van conversion company (https://www.vw-t.co.uk/). She had her first service, which included new dust and pollen filters in July 2023 and has 1 years MOT from 14th February 2024. The bodywork is in excellent condition apart from one, very small scrape on top of the LH side rear door (see photo).
Betsy was professionally converted by VW-t (https://www.vw-t.co.uk/) using their ‘Albourne Conversion’ which gives a high spec interior and all of the bells and whistles required in a modern camper conversion as follows: swivelling double front seat, LWB Skyline Aurora Front Elevating Pop Up Roof with colour coded, scenic canvas (still withing 5 year warranty period) with a memory foam mattress for the bed within the roof, privacy windows with opening centre window, rear curtains, magnetic fix front cab window blinds, fully insulated throughout with carpet wall lining, new ply floor with Altro flooring, RIB129cm 3 seater Altair Bed system, Dometic 2 burner Gas Hob, Dometic sink including tap, underslung 38L freshwater tank, 50L compressor fridge, 174w Solbian Solar Panel including Victron Controller, 12v Power Management System with split charge with 2no 12v sockets, reading lights with USB charger points, 240v hook up with 1no 240v socket and a 10m hook up cable, rear shower (cold only). We will also include 2no awnings, 1no porch style and 1no tent style, both of which have only been used a few times and are in excellent condition.
Besty has two double beds. The rock and roll bed is a RIB129cm 3 seater Altair Bed System and the top bed has a memory foam mattress within the LWB Skyline Aurora Front Elevating Pop Up Roof with colour coded scenic canvas.
