We are selling our little micro camper in preparation for our summer travels. The car drives really well, starts every time and is speedy up hills. MOT expires June 2025 with only one advisory for the front mounts to be replaced. The car comes with a full service history and has been well looked after with regular repairs when needed. In addition, to being used as a 5-seater family car with sliding doors which are incredibly useful in tight spaces. A roof rack was installed which we use to carry a kayak. The van also has a tow bar and a bike carrier which will come with the sale. We have hand built a removable module in the rear which allows for the van to be used as a micro camper whilst retaining 5 seats. This has been great in the summer and we have used it to wild camp at weekends and overnight at weddings. The van looks like a small car and is quite stealthy using it at festivals in lieu of a tent.
The module can be laid flat over the folded seats to be used as a bed with hand-made cushions for support. The module can also be configured as a bench seat with table see photos. There is a drawer which we use to store plates and cups and a gas stove. If you want a van to use at weekends and short trips they do not come much cheaper than this and we will be sad to see it go.
We have owned the vehicle for five years are these are some of the main repairs and replacements we have done. The main body of the car is in great condition for the age. The mileage is just clocking in shy of 96k and we will be using up until the sale.
Jan 2025 – New starter motor and battery installed
2021 – New clutch at 85k miles
2020 – New timing belt installed at 80k miles
The module folds away when not in use and can be configured either as a bed or bench seating sofa with backrest.
Bed is approx 1.6m wide by 1.9m long. The bed folds down from the handbuilt module so it can still be used as a family car with 5 seats when not in use.
