Externally Bonnie is in good condition. She has retained her original iconic school bus yellow livery, but does show a few signs of her age. Most of these could be buffed out with minor works but we felt that it was all part of her charm.
Bonnie has a 6ltr, inline 6-cylinder Navistar DT466E diesel engine. The “E” in DT466E indicates it’s part of the electronic version, meaning it has an electronically controlled fuel system (compared to older mechanical versions of the DT466).
The DT466E is known for being a reliable, durable engine that’s capable of handling the demands of frequent stops and city driving.
Although the MOT expired 2024 (she has been stored on our farm off the road the last year, so no need to MOT), we have driven her around the farm forecourt occasionally to keep things moving and has never failed to get going. On agreed sale we are happy to get her MOT done to get her road legal then she can be delivered to under her own steam (no need for lorry delivery), although an HGV licence is needed to drive her on the roads, something we can arrange.
DVLA Body type: S/D Bus/Coach
Tastefully converted to retain all of its authentic charm, this schoolie is a the real deal. She sleeps a maximum of seven, across one double bed and five single beds. Although we would say six people is the more comfortable maximum, with one of the beds being used as a sofa/reading nook
