Ford Transit 100 T350L RWD
Only previously purchased the van myself just over a month ago but due to personal circumstances I am unfortunately having to sell without even having a proper adventure. Absolutely lovely van that I was very much looking forward to having adventures in so absolutely gutted that I have to sell.
Previously a popular Quirky camper rental. He has 5 gears, a 2402 CC Diesel engine and recent MOT (due 14.07.2022). There is a reversing camera, 4 new tyres and a brand new skylight window installed just above the cooking area (perfect for any tall drivers out there!).
Harrison is the epitome of comfort; with a memory foam sofa for you to relax on in the day, which then collapses into a cosy double bed in the evening. For those that are particularly tall, the bed is lengthways eliminating the risk of awkward hanging feet. Fitted with 2 gas hobs, a sink and a refrigerator, there is an adaptable dining area, which features a table that can be easily erected in front of the sofa to seat 4.
There is a solar panel on the roof meaning you can go completely off grid, with a usb point to make sure you can keep devices charged as well as powering the sink and fridge. There is also a toilet that is stored discreetly. Full sound system means you can play the radio or music off your devices via Bluetooth or aux cables.
There are some bodyworks to the driver side that are required after a scrape with a gate (pictures included below). All structurally sound so works are just purely cosmetic so if you are happy to not get them done then the van is still perfectly usable straight away. I had a quote and the works booked in until circumstances changed – This was £1,690 to have the whole driver side repaired and resprayed to match the rest of the van. I can forward on the quote if needed.
Other very small works that need doing are that the reversing camera is currently showing a black screen. After doing much reading this sounds as simple as replacing a fuse, rest of the unit is working. Also the sliding door has to be locked from the inside, this leads to the horn briefly sounding when locking with the central locking. Having also read up on this it sounds like a common issue with transits that is to do with door sensors or locking out of sequence. It sounds like a very simple fix for the right person or cheap one to fix at the garage.
Outside of the above, the van runs perfectly, has low mileage, recent service and long MOT to July.
Due to personal circumstance, ideally I would like to sell by the end of the week therefore I’m open to discussion on the price but nothing silly please.
Happy to discuss anything and answer any questions you might have.
