Ford Transit MK8 L3 H2
Overview
Built by myself and my partner, designer and architect by trade, this conversion is well worth a look if it’s along the lines of what you’re after. It’s an extremely good price for the huge spec, let alone the detail thats gone into the conversion itself.
The base van is ex commercial fleet panel van and comes with service history. Selected as low miles for the year and a good example.
Interior
Double (Customshop Designs) and single (Rib) swivels in the front with lowered handbrake maintaining modified factory trim
Correct and matching twin Ford crew seats fitted to rear with factory Ford rails
Lagun dining/work table that packs away to storage above the cab alongside thermal window blinds
King bed in the back 1600mm x 2000mm that folds down and stores away entirely when not in use (including bedding).
King bed stored allows for a full length worktop with stainless sink and kitchen area to the front —
Satin black deck mount tap to stainless sink
Cabinetry is all bespoke, modelled, cut and fitted poplar ply for lightweight finish
Attachments are rivnuts throughout and vast majority to factory holes. No squeaks or rattles, solid as a rock and all de-mountable without making a mess.

Eco-friendly Forbo linoleum flooring throughout.
Insulated and sound deadened. Noico 80 mil for deadening. Dodo thermo liner to floors and ceiling with Dodo Mat Fleece EVO bottle wool to walls and cavities

Summary
Everything I can think of for now. Only possible negative I can think of is a it would benefit from the bodywork looking as it does have a few dinks and dents from its previous life. I’d planned on doing these but hadn’t got to them.
Any queries please get in touch and if you’re local well worth coming for a look.

King size murphy bed in rear. Twin swivels at the cab mean easy addition of a ‘Cabbunk’ for x2 children. We had planned this ourselves however our toddler preferred the big bed 😂
