Vehicle Description

Converted Off-Grid Camper For Sale!

The van drives PERFECTLY. It has approx 137k miles on the clock but runs like new with no issues. I found her surprisingly fuel-efficient! The van was serviced in April 2025 and passed her MOT June 23, 2025. The MOT is due on 5 Jul 2026 & the registration is due for renewal 1 July , 26.

There is also a reversing camera installed with a feed to a screen in the cab. The vehicle also has air conditioning and a wireless bluetooth sound system. However, I only used the air con once since buying it and it wasn’t blowing cold so it needs to be re-gassed.

There are some minor cosmetic bodywork scratches & scrapes but these are consistent with a van of it’s age and in my opinion do not detract from the overall smart, presentable look of the van.

Conversion Description

So sad to be selling “Momo” as I’m an Australian, so keeping her registered and insured in the UK isn’t viable for me as a non-resident. I’ve had a great adventure driving her to Morocco, via Spain with 2 friends and then living in her solo for 6 months in Southern Morocco. She is so beautifully converted, I always felt ‘at home’ wherever I was.

I’m not currently in the UK, so I’ve had to transfer her into a friend’s name and store her at her home. I’ve lowered the price by 2000 pounds to sell her. so the price is non-negotiable. Given the current global crisis, she would make an excellent tiny home to live off-grid, to save on rent and utilities.

She is the perfect companion for anyone wanting to explore more of the UK & beyond and to have the creature comforts of a cosy home on wheels, to retire to after a long day out in nature.

I invested a lot in fitting her out with lovely mustard bed linen and matching thick pile mustard bath towels, high quality pillows and duvet with Summer and Winter options, a light woollen mustard throw rug and Starlink satellite, as well as kitchenware & appliances, a camp table and fold-up chairs & cooler…so I’m including all of these soft furnishings and additional extras, so she’s ready to go with everything you need from the moment you collect the keys!

She was revamped by the previous owner 6 months before I purchased her in November, 2024. He invested ££££ with all new electrics, batteries, solar, MPPT detailed below.

Off-Grid Capability:
All newly fitted electrics equipped with 2x brand new 360W solar panels and 2x new 120Ah AGM leisure batteries, this camper is designed for SERIOUS off-grid living. He spent two months traveling through France, Spain, and Portugal without ever needing to hook-up to mains to charge the leisure batteries.

Inviting Interior:
Featuring a charming stained wood and white interior, with removable carpet tiles for easy cleaning after muddy excursions. The comfortable bed sleeps two (6ft length), and there’s ample storage both high and low for clothes, cooking gear, food, tools, and more.

Flexible Living Space:
A cozy sofa area with foam cushioning and coat hooks provides a welcoming spot for relaxation. The removable dining table, adjustable to two sizes, offers flexibility for meals, work, or simply getting ready in the morning. The awning is high-quality and very sturdy and creates a great second living space, ideal for entertaining at campsites.

Fully Equipped Kitchen:
The kitchen area includes a 12V fridge, a two-burner stove, a sink, and storage, along with a secure gas container cupboard and 12L fresh and grey water tanks.

Cozy Lighting:
Warm LED spotlights illuminate the interior, complemented by fairy lights around the perimeter, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Security Features:
The van is fitted with a real-time GPS car tracker, vibration sensor & alarm that notifies you directly to your smartphone. The previous owner also installed a spacious safe with both key and digital combination locks, conveniently hidden above the fridge and accessible via the rear doors—perfect for storing laptops, cameras, and other valuables, ensuring peace of mind while you’re away from the vehicle.

Added Comforts:
Custom blockout curtains and sheers enhance privacy and homeliness, while a magnetised curtain for the side window ensures a good night’s sleep, blocking out unwanted light. Intelligent storage featuring custom fabric pouches, wine and spice racks, and bungee shelving provides secure organisation for everything while on the move.

Ample Storage:
The generous garage space at the rear is perfect for bikes, muddy boots, and camping gear, offering plenty of room for all your adventures.

I never used the portable loo, but I set it up ready to go, should I need to use it. As a solo traveller, I preferred to use campsites with amenities, but with the solar panels, it’s ideal for wild camping for those who are more adventurous.

It has in-built insulation in the wood panelling and comes with reflective window covers, which provide further insulation. I also bought vinyl wheel covers when in Morocco to prevent the rubber from melting in the heat. These are included, along with a fold-up outdoor table and chairs.

I’m also including the latest Starlink hardware. I bought this as an add-on for 300 GBP along with the kitchenware, table & chairs & esky for an additional fee (I paid 17,900 for Momo). I’m including all these. The Starlink that the previous owner installed wouldn’t work for me and when Starlink support tested it remotely, they said the hardware was faulty, so they sent me the latest model as a replacement, which is still unused in the original packaging. FYI I took Momo to Camper and Marine in Lewes, and they couldn’t remove the original Starlink cords which were inserted behind the wood panelling and these don’t interface with the new model.

I’m also including the DB Power jump starter I bought for about 60GBP new. I never had to use it for Momo, but it was a lifesaver for a friend whose battery wouldn’t start when she wanted to leave a festival.
