Conversion Description

Fully off-grid, all weather, self-contained lovingly converted, comfortable, cosy, camper. This quality conversion has been made to a very high spec, with thick Kingspan insulation throughout to keep the van warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The many built-in features make it totally off-grid and suitable for adventures or remote working, all year round. The van has been very well looked after and has low mileage (54117) with a full service history.

Escape-hatch to the cab for if needed when wild-camping (currently covered with removable canvas picture which can be switched for a noticeboard or similar). Three tinted/privacy windows in the living area let in plenty of light and are expertly fitted with blinds (the small window at the foot of the bed has a shutter instead of blind). The roof sky-light is fitted with a dual push mesh or full cover. Ventilation fan is thermostatically controlled to offer air conditioning as well as ventilation from the kitchen area. The Fiamma awning is perfect for shade when sitting outside. (Connecting walls can be purchased from Fiamma if desired, to create an additional room / enclosed awning, for if ever you decide to stay a while at your pitch).

The diesel heater is super efficient and can also be operated via remote control, so you don’t even have to get out of bed to switch it on in the morning in winter! A three stage touch-light on entry to the van is very handy when returning to the van in the dark. You can leave this on a blue setting in case you need to get up during the night to use the Thetford Porta Potti/cassette toilet, which is on an easily accessible slide-out unit under one of the seats in the dining area.

There is a robust 12v system that will supply all your power needs. On the roof there is a large 400w solar panel, fed via an isolator switch to an EPEVER MPPT solar controller. This supplies power to two 130ah leisure batteries. There is also a battery isolator switch which allows you to cut the power when not in use. There is a switch control panel with two USB chargers and a cigarette lighter style socket. A 3000w full sine wave inverter provides main 240v ac to a double socket when off-grid. This can be used to use/charge laptops, hair-dryers, hair straighteners. There’s also an electric hook up on the van, which feeds two double sockets and a 1.5kw electrical water heater. For safety, it is supplied via a 2-way RCD consumer unit. All internal lighting is 12v LED, with 4 ceiling spotlights, 2 adjustable spotlights over the bed and headboard strip lighting. There are also two strip lights under the kitchen cupboards above the sink. There is a Sterling Battery to Battery charger to allow the leisure batteries to be charged whilst the engine is running. This provides power to the batteries even in winter or on overcast, cloudy days.

There’s plenty of storage space in the living area of the van, including the fully insulated over-head cupboard over the cab/above the bulk-head. The boot/garage/under-the-fixed-bed has plenty of room for chairs, sports equipment, folding bikes etc.

Beds Description

Fixed, transverse full sized double bed.
Dinette seating can potentially be made into a single bed using a storage box to bridge the gap for the base. We chose to use the storage space for pet space. It’s currently set up for 2 small dogs (see picture) but can be opened up for one bigger dog, or for a storage box/push away bed base (would need to be retro-fitted).

Main Bed Length
190cm
