Citroen Relay NEW Conversion - 20k Miles - Tadelakt Shower - High Spec

After living in vans and taking them on trips for the last 8 years, this is my latest and best iteration to date. I am a professional joiner by trade and I have a real passion for the campervans. This van has been meticulously designed from years of trying to find the perfect design.
With curves as my inspiration for this van the walls blend into the ceiling and the tadelakt shower flows out from the countertop. There are inbuilt recessed lights which create a calm ambience and natural linoleum cover the countertops and table. The curved oak seats extend to form extra seating or an extra bed. There is huge amounts of storage in the garage with a light so you can see whats in there. There is a custom built aluminium roof rack with 380 watts of solar panel and space for additional storage. In the ceiling there is one Maxxair Fan in the kitchen/shower area and one Dometic Roof Light above the bed. Both windows in the van have hidden wooden shutters to make the van fully shut off from the outside world come night time. It is fully insulated with closed cell insulation and 50mm of recycled plastic wool insulation on top. The flooring is an oak effect LVT and it has 25mm celotex insulation below.

Kitchen
– Dometic CRE80 Fridge
– 2 Burner Gas Hob
– Linoleum Countertops lay on Lightweight Plywood carcasses
– Plenty of drawer storage which are kept locked when the engine is turned on by electromagnets so you can’t forget to lock them (there is an override switch just in case)
– Secret Drawer for leaving valuables & important documents
– Under Cabinet Lighting

Living
– As you enter the van there are 2 curved oak seats – these can be extended to seat 4 people
– The stairs to the bed double up as a back rest for one seat
– Linoleum Table Top with Lagun Mount – there is a storage space for the table behind the passenger seat

Garage
– On the left side behind a fold up door is the electric system
– On the right side are two extremely large drawers on runners that can hold 120kg and in the small door to the right there is the outside shower
– Behind the drawers is the gas manifold, water system and Truma Combi boiler which can be accessed through a small access door

Gas System
– 25 Liter Underslung Gas Tank (with Level Display)
– Truma Combi 2e Boiler – this provides 10L of hot water in just 20 mins. It is also an air heater. It can be powered either from gas or electricity.
– 2 Burner Gas Hob

Water System
– Internal/External Shower – both have access to hot water
– The internal shower folds out from the countertop as you can see in the photos. This is a quick and easy process. When the countertop is folded down, the only evidence of a shower behind is the rainfall shower head above
– The internal shower walls and kitchen backsplash are made from tadelakt (a waterproof Moroccan plaster) on the top, and hand made tiles underneath. Behind each of these the shower has 3 layers of waterproof tanking to ensure the water remains where it should be
– The external shower is located behind a door in the garage area on the right side
– 95L Fresh Water Tank
– 62L Underslung Waste Water Tank – the water from here can be dumped out by an electric valve which you control from the drivers seat. It’s as simple as pressing a button. This water tank also has a level display
