Talbot Highwayman Express Motor Caravan (Peugeot J5)
Apologies to anyone who viewed before and now see different information. I was not familiar with the form for the ad and have since realised there were things I should have ticked that I had not realised applied to the van. I have also been able to verify the correct mileage and measurements since the beginning. I live and learn LOL.
Talbot Highwayman Express 1300 p PLG 1971 cc. 2 axle rigid body. White Petrol. Approx 65mpg. 5 gears. (Peugeot J5 engine/wheels/chassis etc.)
Negatives: Has damp inside. Not sure why. Might be a leak or internal damp. Not MOTd. Not been used for 5 years.
Currently on SORN. Needs new spare wheel (tyre from that still good). Needs new leisure battery. Due to new govt regulations, only super unleaded can now be used.
Positives: only 50,450 miles on the clock. Good engine. Bodywork good for age. New engine battery fitted at last MOT. (2016). 4 new tyres fitted 20th Oct 2021.
This is an older motorhome that has been stood a few years unused. It does have a weather cover on it. Due to a knee injury, I am unable to climb into it to get more photos so only currently have the photos you can see here. Watch this space for more if I can get someone to help.
She needs some TLC but has plenty of life in her yet and anything you spend on her will only pay you back by increasing her value and giving you loads of great memories. I am getting various improvements done to the van and as I do this, the price will go up. If you were to snap her up right now, you will be getting a lower priced bargain with a lot of potential. I am prepared to negotiate on the price.

Van used to have 2 doubles but previous owner replaced over cab bed with cupboards. Would be easy to take out the cupboards and add the bed back in to make it a 4 berth. Doube bed is created by taking out the table and placing it between the two seating benches to make a double bed.
