Volkswagen T4 Autohomes Komet, 1.9 Litre diesel
Reluctant sale of a well-loved family van. First registered 1994 (L reg), but purchased by the current owner in 1996 and has been loved, appreciated and looked after since then. Extensive service history along with original Owner’s Manual from Autohomes, and vehicle has valid MOT until February 2027. Manual 5 speed gearbox, 4 seat belts (2 front & 2 rear) & roof access ladder on rear.
Mechanically good; it has been parked over the winter with occasional outings to run the engine but starts first time. Likely to need a new clutch in the near future.
Conversion is original from factory and includes the high-top build, 3-way fridge, sink with drainer, 2-hob stove with grill, captains seats, Propex heater and plenty of storage including wardrobe. Rock & Roll bed below for adults, and upstairs can sleep a child (or 2 small ones!)
78L fresh water tank and 25L waste water tank are underslung and so free up lots of space in the van.
Priced to reflect that the bodywork needs some TLC due to rust; work has been recently completed to the bodywork & there is no structural issue but the van would require a little love moving forward. The liner of the hardtop roof also requires resticking or replacing – so there would be a little bit of a project needed. Overall the van can be used “as is” or as a perfect base for an upgrade project.

Upper double bed – childrens is 6′ 4″ x 3′ 8.5″ (low height, hence only for children)
