Renault Trafic ii 2012 LWB, 3 seats, 2.0 Diesel, 6 speed power steering, remote control central locking, 2 owners from new.
Full service history and very long MOT (expires October 2023). Battery new in July 2022 and 2x tyres new in May 2021.
I bought the van in January 2021, before that it was company owned.
In the 2 years I’ve had the van she’s been very reliable. Has taken me to the highlands of Scotland and the south of France with no troubles. She has done a fair amount of miles but she’s been serviced each year and looked after well by myself and the one previous owner. I’m confident she’s got many more years of life left.
Fold out bed, can be used as a bench in the day. Pull out under bed drawer for food storage and double gas cooker. Sink unit with 2x 25l tanks one fresh one grey and manual water foot pump. Cassette chemical toilet, Thetford 165. Large storage unit with top that flips up to use as a table surface. Space under the bed for 2x large boxes usually used for clothes storage.
Full transparency the build is basic as it was my DIY lockdown project and I’m not a carpenter so it’s not a professional finish. However it is very functional and easy to fix any issues. I used lightweight materials to ensure maximum fuel efficiency. Before converting I sanded down all the areas of rust I could find in the interior and painted it all over with rust treatment. She is insulated with a combination of materials including reflective double insulation and thermafleece.
180 x 120cm full size (just slightly smaller than a standard double), sleeps 2 people comfortably.
