Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

The length outside is just under 7 meters, and it is 2.8 meters tall, so it does take up a lot of space. We didn’t have problems parking at campsites but not that great when taking the van into central London (we tried). On the inside, from floor to ceiling, it is just over 6ft, so this camper is ideal if you are a tall person and you do not like to be folded. The MOT is due in February 2022, and it has a full service history. We have had the van for a couple of years now, and apart from a flat battery (which is now replaced), it has always been reliable and has never broken down in that time. It averages 31.5MPG, which works out at around £18 to drive 100 miles (assuming £1.25 per litre). The van is EURO 5 emissions standard.

Van Condition
The camper currently has a partial service history. There are a few noticeable scratches and dents in the bodywork. There is a little bit of rust on the rear van doors. The rear differential needs replacing; the brand new part from Mercedes-Benz costs £1,000 plus we were quoted £500 for the labour. Recognising this we’ve recently lowered the price and we are open to sensible offers. We have a recent pre-buyer report available, please get in touch if you want to see it. Overall the reliability has been good and we haven’t had any breakdowns since we have been travelling.
We highly recommend viewing, the van is located in Northamptonshire.

Kitchen area
Cosy kitchen with navy cabinets, brass fixings and white tiles. It is fitted with a mini farmhouse sink and a beautiful solid walnut kitchen worktop. A single-hob electric induction cooker is included in the price. When not in use, the cooker fits perfectly in one of the kitchen drawers. There are 3 full-size drawers, 2 double-shelf cabinets under the sink and above the sink. All drawers and cabinets have magnetic locks, which prevents them from opening when driving. There are low-voltage LD spotlights fitted. The sink isn’t connected to the greywater system, but we include the external water collection system (Waste Master), typically found in caravans and campers. We also include spare floor tiles, paint and oil for the worktop care.

Seating area
Modern looking bench seat in white-grey colour scheme with some cosy cushions. With the double bench seat and the front double passenger seat rotating 180 degrees, you can have a 4-people sitting area. The bench seat can act as a bed for a child. We had our 8-year old niece sleep there comfortably when she camped with us. The bench seat has USB sockets and a double plug socket on the side. This is convenient because, inside the bench seat, we include a cool box. There is also plenty of storage space left there. There is a Lagun boat table for dining, which can be lifted/lowered, rotated/turned or folded on the side of the bench when not in use. The high gloss paintwork makes it easy to clean. The flooring is vinyl tiles, super easy to clean, and we include the spares just in case. There is a roof window (Mini Heki) for natural light and plenty of low-voltage LD lights.

Bathroom
It’s an entirely waterproofed wet room with a mini hand-held shower. There is an extraction fan at the top. A removable pole fitted a the top acts as a hanger for towel/laundry when the shower is not used. There are mini hooks and a mirror on the door, and plenty of fitted spotlights. It easy to clean and keep dry. Porta Potti and the toilet chemicals are included.

Bedroom
The white colour scheme with a double memory foam EMMA mattress with a removable, washable cover. There are 4 shelved cupboards on the side with USB sockets for easy access. There are hooks on the wall, plenty of fitted lightings, and a roof window (Mini Heki) for stargazing. For easy access, there is a ladder leading to the bedroom that securely attaches to the wall.

Camping / Wild Camping
We used the camper for camping in the UK and wild camping in Europe.
The following items are included in the price for a great experience:
* Drive Away Awning, which attaches to the van and acts as an extra room
* Gas cooker and table for cooking outside
* Fitted flynets for protection from bugs and insects
* Fairy lights for the festival feels

Electric
The campervan comes fitted with 240v and 12v electrics. It has 2 large batteries (2 x 110AH) and 3 x 100w solar panels, making it great for having electricity when off-grid. Around the campervan, there are a few conveniently located USB charging ports and 240v plug sockets. If you are parked up at a campsite with an electrical hook-up, there is an external plug for connecting to the main electricity. There is a large inverter, which is great for making a cup of tea, powering laptops, chargers and other devices. There is a fitted electric water heater and electric induction cooktop, although we would only recommend using them when connected at a campsite as they drain the batteries.

Water
A large 70 Litre water tank fitted underneath the van would usually last a few days with 2 adults showering and cooking. Inside the wet room, there is a small handheld showerhead; while the water pressure does not compare to a shower at home, it is great washing after a day at the beach. The water from the wet room drains into fitted grey water tanks mounted under the van. There is also a tap for a hosepipe at the back of the camper for cleaning beach equipment or pets.

Ventilation/climate control
There are several options to keep you cool in the summer. On the ceiling, there is a powerful Fiamma Turbo vent that can be used as an extractor or fan, even on rainy days. There are two other ceiling windows, one above the living area and one above the bedroom, both can be opened (when it is not raining) and both fitted with flynets. Around the van, there are large windows on both sides and barn windows on the backdoors. The van is very well insulated with sheep wool inside all walls/ceiling, which is great for keeping the heat out on hot days and the heat inside on cold days. Included are all of the curtains seen in the photos and sun-shields for the windscreen and side windows in the drivers’ cab.

Security
The van comes with standard stock security, and we also fitted a secondary GPS device, and we include a steering lock. Note that the GPS is not professionally fitted, so it will not decrease insurance premiums – but is nice for peace of mind.
