Cosy and Unique Ford Transit Converted Campervan

This recently converted van was hand made with care and high attention to detail.
Double gas hob and sink installed into our homemade worktop. A 320w solar panel has been installed on the roof, connected up to two 110ah deep cycle batteries to provide adequate power for your adventures. These batteries are also connected up to the Van’s alternator so when you drive, it is recharging the auxiliary batteries. From the batteries it is connected up to the control unit which you can use to turn off the six led lights. There are three switches for the lights: two above the cooker/sink, two above the sofa and two above the tv. All can be turned on and off in pairs. The unit also turns the cooler under the sink on and off and also turns the tap pump on and off. The sofa pulls down into a double sized bed.

The van has done 139,000 miles but honestly still feels excellent to drive. We’ve done one trip in the van to the Scottish Highlands and had a very comfortable holiday.

Update (some more details based on the enquiries we are receiving):

Water storage 50 litres.
Foam insulation in the ceiling/floors/walls.
You cannot stand up in this van.

Reason for selling:
A new baby and a new house means we have made the difficult decision to sell this conversion which I had invested a lot of effort and time into making it just how I wanted it. Sadly the reality is it isn’t practical with a baby. We feel the van deserves to be used by somebody else rather than sitting on our driveway. I really enjoyed the conversion process so I do plan on doing another in a few years when I have more time on my hands (and more savings).
