Vauxhall Combo
– New MOT and service
– 1.2L disel engine
– Good body work
– Has always been very reliable
– Cheap to run for a van!
This has been my everyday drive as it’s the size of the car! This little van is perfect for when having a car is required, but the conversion allows for trips away.
There are some small chips in the windscreen that have been filled in (and haven’t gotten any worse in the last 3 years of me driving it), and there is a bit of damage to the left wing mirror plastic cover. These are both purely aesthetic issues and do not effect the safety or functions when driving.
Please note that the miles will be a little higher at point of purchase as I am still driving it.
I hand crafted this van myself 2 years ago – it was previously owned by my sister who used it as a gardening van. This wonderful little van has served me so well as my daily drive, and a means of escaping the city for summer festivals and weekends away. This is my second camper conversion, after living in my first full time – which informed me about how to create a cosy, efficiently designed mini camper. I am regrettably selling this van due to a change in circumstances meaning I will be going back to full time van life, and so need a larger van to convert.
A simple but extremely thoughtful and practical conversion – this van has a great amount of storage and cooking capabilities to comfortably camp for days or weeks at a time. Cooking is made easy as the rear flip down table perfectly fits a standard camping stove, and there is extensive easy access storage for food and cookware. There is also extra storage for additional things on the bulkhead shelf, behind the flip down driver/passenger seats, and under the bed. The bed is comfortable and very cosy. There are USB fairy lights which give plenty of light during the night, and I just plugged these into a portable battery charger (which draws very little energy).
The van has been converted to a high standard and attention to detail with full insulation, vapour barrier, carpeting, laminate flooring, thick tongue and groove cladding, and reclaimed timber woodwork.
Sale includes the 10L water container, woven baskets, and fairy lights. The camp stove and bedding have been used for demonstration purposes in the photos but are not included in the sale.
Please send any questions my way!
