DESCRIPTION
Newly completed DIY conversion in a 2013 Renault Trafic.
Created for those spontaneous weekends away it has a quiet and unassuming appearance for the more stealthier of nights, it boats two large drawers for storage, one accessed from the interior of the van and one from the exterior and one unit that is designed to be used for cooking and can slide out of the side door to keep the inside of the van free from cooking nasties.
The bed takes on two forms, during the day a large 150 x 160 seating area and at night it pulls out to become a huge, 180 x 160. As its a custom fit bed, the Firm memory foam mattress comes with its own boucle covers.
The electrical system offers LED touch sensitive down lighters embedded in a beautiful wooden slatted roof to give it a really cosy feel, as well as 2 x 13A 240v sockets to charge laptops and other devices.
FULL VAN & CONVERSION FEATURE LIST
Insulated Floor, Sound deadening on all walls, wheel arches and ceiling panels, a mix of recycled plastic soft insulation and rigid PIR board used in all cavities throughout.
Remote controlled Maxx fan in roof for air flow, one window on either side of the van added.
Solar panels and full Victron electrical kit installed.
Black out curtains.
Two drawers for storage under bed and slide out kitchen unit.
The Van itself is an ex tradesman’s van so has some cosmetic wear and tear to go with it from where the brandig has been removed from the side of the van. At the last MOT quite a few issues were repaired, so its now running well.

Converted by my myself for myself, however due to personal circumstances I am looking to sell the van before having really had the chance to get much use out of it. So crafted with love and care, i’ve put a lot of thought into the workings of the van and tried to make the space a cosy comfy place to be whilst also being as practical as possible.
