Vehicle is 3920cc diesel engine with automatic transmission. It can be driven on a regular license as long as it was issued prior to 1997. The vehicle was previously used by Suffolk County Council to provide access to broadband in rural communities. It has been well maintained. It was bought for conversion, but a bereavement has altered our plans. The vehicle comes with a Thetford toilet and sink, 4 leisure batteries, 240v hook up, Inverter, reversing camera and two diesel heaters. The vehicle also has a wheelchair lift & sliding door to the rear. It requires fitting out with kitchen, beds etc. The vehicle is very roomy inside with excellent headroom, fantastic potential for conversion to many uses, however for insurance purposes we have it accepted as a โMotorhomeโ undergoing conversion. The vehicle is in good condition, it has been serviced since new by Suffolk Council, it was last MOTโd & serviced in December 2021.
The vehicle has been accepted by our insurers as a Motorhome under conversion. It is currently described on the V5C as an HGV Box Van, but I am confident with the addition of basic interior fittings it will be accepted by DVLA as a Motorhome conversion, it already incorporates a number of the required features.
The vehicle has no bed installation at present, it is ready for conversion to suit the new owner and will easily accommodate 6 berths.
