Former police vehicle that has been well maintained. 6 gears – 2198 CC. Goes very well no engine issues. Nice to drive.
2 x PASSENGER SEATS are currently removed but are AVAILABLE FOR SALE WITH THE VAN (good condition, and included in cost). All fittings still in place so passenger seats can be reinstalled if desired. (Drawers in cab will need to be removed and partition adjusted to reinstall passenger seats. Diesel heater currently in passenger footwell will need to be moved to rear. Should be straightforward for someone experienced).
Some rust on bodywork but structurally sound (checked by garage prior to commencing conversion). Fully wax undersealed by garage to prevent further rusting. Otherwise in good condition.
Rear windows into living area are one way – you can see out but no one can see in! Home made thermal and black out blinds are also included for stealth, easily attached via magnets.
Was declared CAT C c.2018 by previous owner. Fully-fixed and inspected. Been driving for 3 years with no problems.
Conversion completed by experienced (but not professional) woodworker in 2021 and everything is in good condition/working order. Has two solar panels, a split charger, 3 x 120V leisure batteries, and an invertor. 2 x USB ports in living area. Includes solar panel isolator. Electronics were completed by a certified electrician but van not certified.
Fully insulated throughout with vapour barrier to prevent damp/condensation. Roof, walls, floor, wheel arches and above cab storage space all fully insulated.
Water, gas, and batteries are stored at rear of vehicle (under bed accessed via back doors). Electric pump provides running water to sink with grey water storage under sink. Gas is securely stored in gas locker with ventillation/drainage. A carbon monoxide detector is installed.
Has a newly installed disel heater in passenger footwell. Heating can be turned on/off using a remote control stored by the bed (so you don’t have to get up on cold mornings to turn the heating on!) A laundry chute is also installed under the bed for easy laundry storage which is accessible via back doors.
Oven and 2 x gas hobs accessible under hinged worktop. Extra counter space is attached on back of cab door for use during cooking. Has extractor fan and a high quality cool box that can be filled with ice to work as a fridge – a bag of ice, c.£1, lasts for approximately 2-4 days depending on the weather.
Portable toilet stored out of sight in cupboard under oven.
Dining table is fully adjustable. Table top spins 360 degress, and can be raised or lowered to suit. Entire table leg is easily detachable for space.
The cab has been partioned from the living area for stealth. Partition wall, including door, is fully insulated and the living area is accessible from the cab via a door with a Yale lock.
This is a really nice van conversion that is in good working order – only selling due to moving. I have been using the van as a stealth camper for part-time living in Cardiff since 2021 with no issues.
Full-sized single bed with foam mattress. Static bed (does not fold away).
